HGTV’s “Fixer to Fabulous” hosts Jenny and Dave Marrs have pulled off a great feat. The design duo hosted their fourth annual Berry Fest at their berry farm in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The event, which took place on Saturday, June 24, included local vendors, live music, and plenty of blueberry picking. The whole event also served as a fundraiser, as all of the profits from the Marrses berry farm are used to “pave a way for agricultural training and a sustainable food source for orphaned children in Zimbabwe”, according to the berry farm’s website.

Jenny Marrs Reflects on Berry Fest 2023

Jenny reflected on the successful event in a June 25 Instagram post, thanking the 2,500 attendees and writing, “The greatest privilege for us was meeting you all and hearing your stories: stories of miracles, hardships, and, most of all, hope. What a beautiful, beautiful reminder that no matter where we live or what we believe or what we look like; we are all fellow sojourners on this road of life just trying to do a little good. And, yesterday, we did just that. We raised enough money to continue to care for the kiddos in our programs in both Zimbabwe AND Belize. We started the ripple here that will reach all the way across the sea in a great tidal wave of love. Thank you is insufficient. But, thank you. Thank you for being here, thank you to every volunteer and to every food truck and every vendor and to every artist. What a day, you guys. What a day. THANK YOU 🤍🫐🤍!!”

Fans were just as grateful to the Marrses for hosting the event, and they weren’t shy to share their messages in Jenny’s comment section.

“Congratulations!! It just keeps getting better and better every year!!!!” one fan wrote.

“Love you all and your hearts so so much!!!!!” another user added.

One attendee shared their own “small world” story from the event as well, writing, “Jenny, want to hear something crazy? I was walking back to the berry fields when I got there and heard someone call my name (that was normal) but when I turned to look.. it was one of my best friends from kinder through 7th grade in California. She and her daughter were volunteers! I haven’t seen her since we photographed her wedding nine years ago in California!”

Berry Fest 2023 Was Almost Ruined by a Damaged Blueberry Crop

Although the Marrses put a lot of time and effort into making sure Berry Fest 2023 went off without a hitch, there was a last-minute complication that almost affected the festival.

“We are a week and a half away from Berry Fest and have some not-so-great news to share this morning… a really big storm blew threw the farm with strong straight line winds and damaged our berry crop. We estimate a loss of about 50% of our berries. 😭 😭 😭,” Jenny wrote in a June 14 post.

Luckily, the rain wasn’t able to stop Berry Fest from taking place, and the Marrses worked extra hard to ensure all who came to pick blueberries at the festival were able to do so.

HGTV star Page Turner got fans’ attention after showing off her sweet side of herself in season two of “Fix My Flip” on Thursday, June 22.

In the episode, “Condemned House Nightmare”, Turner worked on a condemned home from the 1960s in Diamond Bar, California. “This looks unsafe,” Turner noted when first seeing the home.

After learning one of her clients, Elmer, had been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma cancer and was preparing to have a bone marrow transplant, the HGTV host was taken aback with tears. “We have to see this through for many reasons,” she said. While Turner asked for 25% of the profits from the flip before taking the project on, by the end of the episode she decided to forego her share, letting Elmer and his girlfriend Jackie hold onto her share of the profit.

“I’m just so blessed to know you guys, and even more blessed to see you standing right here cancer-free,” Turner said to Elmer, who had been through treatments and was in remission by the end of the episode. Since Elmer is a fan of the L.A. Dodgers, Turner surprised him by having player James Loney surprise him at the flipped home as well.

The clients bought the home at $720,000, and the final list price was $1,250,000, with the house selling a week after it hit the market. This means Turner gave up an estimated $132,500, a fact that did not go unnoticed by HGTV fans.

Fans Praise Page Turner’s Act of Giving

One fan, moved by Turner’s kindness, took to Reddit to ask if others had seen the “Fix My Flip” finale. “I was so awestruck. What a genuine and generous thing to do,” they wrote in their post.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever seen her cry. She ran the entire job to completion for no money and I’m certain, whatever HGTV pays her, didn’t cover her own costs…. That’s a hell of a [diagnosis] and you’re on maintenance drugs for years. What a hell of a situation. I really hope he’s well today and what Page did was remarkable….” another Reddit user wrote in the comments.

Elmer responded to Turner’s gift in an Instagram comment on her June 22 post, writing, “Thank you for having us on [Page] it was an amazing experience! [Jackie] and I can’t thank you enough for helping bring awareness to the struggles that come with a cancer diagnosis. We love you 🧡,” and after one user sent well wishes in a response, Elmer confirmed, “[Thank you] 🧡 things are getting better!”

Other fans also took to Turner’s Instagram, with comments reading, “Wow..Paige ur season finale was the best ever..although I love ur seasons..this one was sooo warm and heart felt. It actually made me cry!!” and “What a last show it was for sure! It was emotional and heartwarming! You are such a sweet and kind soul who deserves the best in life. I am looking forward to next season. You are a true role model for sure! ❤️”

What is T-Cell Lymphoma?

According to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, T-cell lymphomas are a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (that account for about 7% of all non-Hodgkin lymphoma cases in the United States). The American Cancer Society reports that treatment plans for these types of cancer often involve chemotherapy, however more steps may be involved if the cancer has spread to the bone marrow. The National Cancer Institute reported an overall survival rate for T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma to be 63.1% (with different figures for the different types of T-cell lymphomas).

It’s no secret that HGTV’s Keith Bynum has a love for old homes, and after discovering a home he was working on was 100 years old, the “Bargain Block” co-host couldn’t keep his excitement to himself.

“This is very cool to me! 100 years old. And in great shape! Hope I look this good at 100 lol #oldhouses #1923 #veryneat,” Bynum wrote in a June 22 Instagram post which featured images of the home’s inspection card, nailed into one of the walls. The card showed proof of the home’s original inspection from July 31, 2023, meaning the home was built 100 years ago and will reach the official 100-year marker of its inspection in late July 2023.

Fans Are Enthralled by Bynum’s ‘Piece of History’

Fans and followers of the Detroit designer’s were just as interested in the historical inspection record as Bynum, and left multiple comments on his post confirming this.

“That deserves to be framed!! Pieces of history are so amazing!” one fan wrote.

“Love it! I admit I was confused at first because I looked at the photo but didn’t read the caption right away. *1923* haha,” another user added.

“Awesome find! Twenty-five yrs ago when we constructed our home, we buried a time capsule in a wall. We hope someone finds it in the future when we no longer exist. We wrote our story to preserve the information and journey of buying and building here. ♥️” a third user added, sharing their own experience.

Bynum spoke about his love for historical homes in a 2022 interview with PopCulture.com, where he explained, “I love finding historic elements in a house. Even some of the smaller houses, they were built back in the ’20s and ’30s, and Detroit really was at its peak at that time. Even the smaller houses have beautiful detail. There’s a lot of coved ceilings, the trim work is nice. If you come across a fireplace, oftentimes they’ll have beautiful original tile. So I get very emotionally connected to some of those elements of the houses that somebody, at some point, put a lot of love and a lot of time into whatever element it is, and I think it’s good that we try to preserve that. I think it’s worth the effort to kind of save it.”

Bynum’s partner and co-host Evan Thomas chimed in as well, saying, “Not all of the houses are able to save much because some of them are so dilapidated that you just kind of have to start from the ground up. So when we can find a historical element that we really like, and we’re able to save, we always do.”

Besides their work on homes in the Detroit area and many HGTV appearances, Bynum and Thomas have been keeping busy getting ready for their “Festival of the Arts”, which took place on June 17, 2023. According to their business, NINE Design + Homes’, website, featured art from over 40 artists, as well as food trucks and activities (including a furniture rehab tips workshop led by the HGTV stars themselves).

A couple of days after the event, Bynum shared on Instagram that “the art show went off beautifully”, however he has yet to oblige one fan in the comment section who asked for photos from the event, though one user who was in attendance has shared some of their own snapshots from the day.

HGTV star Erin Napier is getting cryptic signs at work.

The “Home Town” co-host and designer shared a June 21 Tweet with a photo of three fortune cookies. The three fortunes read “Great people live dangerously, small ones don’t take chances”, “A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner!”, and “Water not only can keep a ship afloat, but also can sink it.”

“the catering at work today is ominous. #titanicsub has me so anxious!!” Napier captioned her tweet, referring to the viral news story of submersible that became lost somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean while touring the wreckage of the Titanic, which has remained on the ocean floor for over a century since it sank in April 1912.

On board the submersible (dubbed the Titan, which according to NPR is owned by OceanGate, a company that offers seafloor tours of the Titanic wreckage for $250,000 per person) were pilot Stockton Rush (the head of OceanGate), French underwater wreck expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet,  British entrepreneur Hamish Harding, and Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood.

Fans and followers of Erin’s were quick to chime in the replies with their thoughts on her “ominous” message.

“Wow, prescient! The submergeable: Years ago a child fell down a well and the whole nation watched the news waiting for Baby Jessica to be rescued. It was a long, difficult process to get her out…and it did not turn out the way we hoped. 😢” one user responded, likening the current tragedy with a previous story that captured widespread media attention.

USA Today reported on why the lost Titan submersible has attracted the attention of so many people across the world and has filled different social media channels, inlcuding Twitter and TikTok, with post after post.

“At its core, the missing Titanic submersible vessel contains all the essential elements of an addictive, alluring media spectacle,” Pace University associate professor of communication and media studies Melvin Williams claimed.

“A lot of people are envisioning what it would be like to be on the sub knowing that you have less than 24 hours of oxygen if you aren’t rescued. We’re also intrigued by adventurers and what risks they’ll take in life,” “Mentally Stronger” podcast host Amy Morin added. It has been estimated that the passengers on the Titan, if not rescued by Thursday, June 22, face the risk of running out of oxygen.

Erin Napier Has Been Enjoying the Start of Summer at Home

Despite her mind being with the Titan passengers, Napier has been able to enjoy a bit of quality time at home in Laurel, Mississippi with her “Home Town” co-host (and husband) Ben Napier, and their daughters Helen, 5, and Mae, 2.

In a June 10 post, Erin shared a video of Mae circling the family driveway on a scooter while the song “Ride Out in the Country” by Yola played in the background. “take a ride out in the country,” Erin wrote in her caption, quoting the song’s lyrics.

HGTV has unveiled its decision on the future of one of its fan-favorite series, “Unsellable Houses” in a June 21 Press Release. The network confirmed that the show, hosted by twin designers Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis, was slated for a fourth season set to premiere on Sunday, July 23, at 9 p.m. Eastern, with the rest of the 13-episode season expected to broadcast weekly on Sunday nights.

Lamb and Davis, aware of their season four premiere prior to its announcement, had their own unique way of getting the news out to their fans. In a June 21 post from the official Lamb and Company (the twins’ real estate and design business) Instagram account, the “Unsellable Houses” sisters enlisted the help of some of their HGTV co-stars to help spread the word of their premiere date.

“POV: You try the glasses trend to announce season four of ‘Unsellable Houses’ 🔥” the twins wrote in their video post, which included a slideshow of photos and clips of them decked out in circle sunglasses with letter beads glued around the frames to spell out words.

First, the twins are seen rocking glasses that read “Unsellable Houses” and “Season Four”. Then, they show off stars including Jenny and Dave Marrs (from “Fixer to Fabulous”), Jonathan Knight (from “Farmhouse Fixer”), and Ty Pennington (host of “Rock the Block”), whose glasses include the phrases “Twin win” and “Season four this July”. Also joining in on the fun are “100 Day Dream Home” stars Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt, “Bargain Block” couple Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas, and various members of the “Unsellable Houses” production team.

Fans were thrilled at the return news and the twins’ creativity behind their announcement, making their voices heard in the comment section.

Lamb and Davis each married their high school sweetheart, and now the twins’ oldest sons are each preparing to leave high school, and their mothers are preparing themselves to watch their sons go through the milestones that come with it.

“SENIOR PROM 🎉 It’s all happening, our boys are so grown up!! Just a few more days until graduation 🎓 😭,” Davis wrote over a June 7 photo of her son, Kyler, and Lamb’s son, Miles, dressed in tuxedos and getting ready to dance the night away. On June 18, Lamb shared a Father’s Day post dedicated to her husband, Justin, which featured a photo of the two smiling with Miles, who was dressed in his cap and gown for graduation.

HGTV stars Ben Napier and Dave Marrs both rang in Father’s Day 2023 with their families, but in a June 18 Instagram post by the network, HGTV shared a clip of the two fathers exchanging corny dad jokes with each other.

“What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with a slew of groan-worthy dad jokes from Cool Dads™️ [Ben and Dave],” HGTV captioned the post, which saw Napier and Marrs standing together sharing a laugh.

“What’s up y’all, I’m Dave Marrs,” Ben opened the video with a joke, with Dave adding on, “and I’m Ben Napier.”

Napier started the Dad Joke video. After pointing out Marrs’ facial hair, he went on to say, “I didn’t [have facial hair] for a long time, I used to hate it, actually, but then it grew on me.”

With the popularity of the “Home Town” and “Fixer to Fabulous” couples, it would seem that having the Napiers and Marrses team up for “Home Town Takeover” season 2 would be a no-brainer, however Jenny Marrs shared in April 2023 that it took a lot of extra work to ensure that she and Dave would be able to join Ben and Erin’s spinoff series and that the collaboration almost didn’t come to be.

“We couldn’t figure out how it was possible, honestly. Our production company had to rework our entire ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ schedule,” Jenny admitted.

Dave added to his wife’s comment, saying, “We love small-town America, and we loved seeing what happened in Wetumpka, the emotion and the energy that was there, we just had to figure out a way to do it.” Since Dave is originally from Colorado, he was also eager to jump at the chance to return to his home state, an opportunity he was able to see through thanks to the hard work of his “Fixer to Fabulous” team.

HGTV star Bryan Baeumler took time out of his Father’s Day celebration to honor the death of a dear friend with his children by his side.

Baeumler shared on Instagram that he went out for a Father’s Day meal on Sans Souci Island in Lake Huron, Ontario, Canada with his two youngest children, Lincoln, 12, and Josephine “Jojo,” 10. The trio went out to eat at Henry’s and then went to another local business, LeBlanc Sans Souci Marina, to pay tribute to one of the owners, who died in March 2023.

Bryan Baeumler Posts Father’s Day Reflections

Baeumler also spent Father’s Day reflecting on his views on fatherhood and sharing his thoughts along with a slideshow of photos with his father and his children.

“Being a Dad, or Father figure, is much more than being a provider, and protector. … The most important part of being a Dad is telling them and showing them you love them until they’re sick of hearing it, and by setting a good example by the way you talk to and treat the people and situations around you,” Baeumler wrote. “Teach by example…they’re always watching, learning and listening. The most rewarding thing in life is watching your kids grow up to be good, kind people…and knowing that you played a part in that. To my Dad…and all the great Dads and Father figures out there, Cheers! 🍻”

Bryan Baeumler Is Reliving His Childhood Summer Vacations

The area where Baeumler spent Father’s Day with his children, known as the Georgian Bay, is filled with over 30,000 islands, forming “the world’s largest freshwater archipelago,” according to National Geographic.

In another June 18 post, Baeumler revealed that his visit with Lincoln and Jojo was inspired by his own childhood trips.

“Cruising through the 30,000 Islands on Georgian Bay, where I spent my Summers as a kid. #WhereItAllStarted #MoonRiverHandymen #IWouldDoItAllOverAgain #StillAKid,” Baeumler captioned his post, which included a video of water and clear gradient skies off the back of his cruising motorboat.

HGTV’s “Home Town” star Erin Napier took to Instagram late in the night on Saturday, June 17 to share a special Father’s Day post in honor of her husband and co-host Ben Napier. Erin and Ben have two daughters together, Helen (5) and Mae (2).

“Here’s what the truly great dads do: they fix things, broken necklaces, broken barbies, broken hearts,” Erin wrote in her post’s caption, “They teach their daughters what to expect from the men they’ll someday love and what’s unacceptable, too. Back in May 2023, Ben shared a throwback photo from one of his school picture days as a child. The school photo shows Ben with his brown hair hanging in his face, large wire frame glasses, and a black and blue striped shirt that reads “BUGLEBOY”.

HGTV recently announced that the Kim Wolfe-hosted “Why the Heck Did I Buy This House?” was set for a season 2 premiere on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, however in a June 16 Instagram post, Wolfe revealed some “Exciting news” about her show, including a new premiere date and timeslot.

“My @hgtv show, ‘Why the Heck Did I Buy this House’, just got a major upgrade! We’re moving to primetime!” Wolfe wrote in the post’s caption, “🫣 Starting July 23rd, we’ll be premiering on SUNDAY nights at 9 PM CST! Don’t forget to mark your calendars and tune in for some serious house-transformation craziness. #whytheheckdidibuythishouse”.

HGTV has updated the premiere date and time in their original press release about the new season, confirming its return on July 23 at 10 p.m. Eastern time. The network also filled the original “Why the Heck Did I Buy This House?” premiere date timeslot with reruns of Alison Victoria’s “Windy City Rehab”.

Kim Wolfe’s Fellow ‘Survivor’ Alumni Chime in On the Premiere Date Shift

Despite having to wait an extra month for the series to air on HGTV, fans chimed into Wolfe’s comment section with excitement about the season’s new timeslot.

Wolfe first competed on, and won, season 24 of the competition series, called “Survivor: One World” with the “One World” twist having all of the contestants living on the same beach at the start of the game, despite being split into two separate tribes. Wolfe then returned for season 40, “Winners at War”, where she faced off against other previous winners, including Shallow and Zohn. Wolfe ended this season in ninth place.

Kim Wolfe’s 1st Solo Design Project Was Featured on Bravo’s ‘Southern Charm’

Wolfe and Meissner have a lasting friendship from their time together on “Survivor” (Meissner came in third place, going all the way to the end with Wolfe and runner-up Sabrina Thompson), and as such have included each other in their future projects.

While Meissner was a cast member on Bravo’s “Southern Charm” (from seasons 3 through 6), she enlisted her old “Survivor” friend to help her work on her home renovation. In speaking with Showbiz CheatSheet in April 2022 ahead of her first season premiere for “Why the Heck Did I Buy This House?”, Wolfe revealed this was one of her first solo design ventures, and gave her the confidence needed to go out on her own and eventually land her own show.

“My project doing Chelsea’s house was my first job kind of out on my own. I had been working for another designer here in San Antonio before that. And so that was my first foray into seeing what I could do. And it was fun with Chelsea. Number one I know her so well. So that was easy for me, in a sense. It was almost like doing it for a sister. Then she just let me have creative freedom,” Wolfe said.

Galey Alix, host of HGTV’s “Home In a Heartbeat,” opened up about her struggle with mental health. Alix revealed to People that she struggled with anorexia and bulimia, and that her former fiancé broke up with her when she disclosed her mental health battle to him three years ago, days before saying “I do.”

“I told him that I’d been hiding a very severe eating disorder and I was really struggling, and I needed to find a therapist,” Alix, 29, told People. “And he did not want to marry me anymore because I had been dishonest by hiding my struggle.”

The HGTV star was at the “lowest point” after her engagement ended, but she used that as an opportunity to get help for her disordered eating.

“Even though I’m an extreme do-it-yourself-er, the one thing you don’t want to DIY is your mental health, and it’s important to ask for help,” Alix told the publication. “The only reason I got better is I basically asked for help for the first time.”

The designer told People she wasn’t discouraged by her fiance’s response to her ask for help, and she continued to seek it until she got it. In fact, Alix said that she thinks her fiance’s reaction helped her in the long run.

“If it hadn’t been so devastating and dramatic in the worst way, I don’t think I would’ve hit the low I needed to hit so that I could stand up differently in a new life,” she told People. “So I’m really grateful for it.”

Being a host on HGTV isn’t Alix’s only gig. The 30-year-old is “an executive at Goldman Sachs based out of Florida,” according to Forbes. She does her renovations on the weekend and does her day job Monday to Friday, the outlet said.

While she was engaged to her fiance, she was renovating a 10,000-square-foot home in Connecticut, Forbes wrote, but she stayed in Florida when the relationship ended.

‘Saving Homes’ Saved Alix

Alix told Forbes that she credits home renovations with saving her life.

“Saving their homes is actually what saved me. It made me feel like I had something to live for again,” she told Forbes in 2021. “Even though I wasn’t able to get married and start a family of my own, I am instantly adopted into the families whose home I am working on.”

Alix said designing homes is her creative outlet.

“I am getting to transform their houses into that “family home” I was trying so hard to create in Connecticut for myself and my ex-fiancé, but wasn’t healthy enough to,” the HGTV star told Forbes. “It’s like my pain found its purpose and its purpose is to help others. And now I’ve got a healthy outlet for the creativity I’ve always had burning inside me but never unlocked.”

Alix Is Dating a Reality TV Star

Alix didn’t give up on love after her engagement ended. In fact, she told people that she slid into the DMs (direct messages) of her current boyfriend, Dale Moss, who appeared on season 16 of “The Bachelorette” and is a former football player.

She said she didn’t know him from his stint on reality TV, but was intrigued after she heard him speak on a podcast.

“I was very attracted to him physically,” she admits, revealing that she then decided to be bold and slide into his DMs. “I DIY’ed it,” she told People. “I was like, ‘If I want this to happen, I have to do it myself.’ So I sent him a message and I just said, ‘Hey, I listened to your podcast. I love the way you think. I love the way you speak. If you’re ever in South Florida, let’s get lunch.’”

The couple has been dating since June 2022, according to Us Weekly.

In November, Moss, 34, wrote Alix a birthday message on Instagram.

“So happy we get to exist in this world together. I’m beyond proud of the courage you’ve shown unapologetically going after your dreams & have found a sense of home I’ve never experienced before through your love,” he penned. “In awe of you each day.”

HGTV stars Christina Hall and Heather El Moussa have not always had a perfectly smooth co-parenting relationship when it comes to Heather’s role as stepmother to Christina’s two oldest children, 12-year-old Taylor and 7-year-old Brayden. In a pair of Tuesday, June 13 Instagram story posts, however, Christina and Heather were pictured together (along with their husbands, Josh Hall and Tarek El Moussa, respectively) as they celebrated Taylor’s sixth-grade graduation.

“Proud of our girl! 7th grade here we come!” Christina wrote in her story post, with Heather adding in her own post, “We are so proud of this girl Graduating 6th grade”.

Taylor El Moussa Praises Stepmother Heather El Moussa

Heather previously spoke with Today in November 2022 about developing her relationship with her stepchildren over time, and how it was “challenging” in the beginning to figure out how her relationship with Christina would work.

“I’m a very happy, positive person, but I felt like I was always second,” Heather said, “No one ever made me feel that way, but I think when your significant other has such a long relationship with the previous spouse and a lot of love, and it was a very public divorce… You’re coming into it, you fall in love with each other, but you always kind of think of the ex. For me, I did.”

Over time, Heather and Christina were able to warm up to each other, with Heather crediting that to her dedication to Taylor and Brayden showing through. “I think she realized how much I love the kids, and they are number one to me over anything,” Heather said, “So, any drama aside, the kids are the most important thing to all of us now.”

Everything seems to be amicable now between Tarek, Christina, and their spouses, with both married couples expanding their families. Christina has one younger son, Hudson, with her ex-husband Ant Anstead, while Tarek and Heather welcomed a baby boy of their own, Tristan, in January 2023.

Ahead of Tristan’s arrival, Heather’s baby shower was filmed for the Netflix reality show “Selling Sunset”, where she appears as a main cast member. Taylor was invited as Heather’s plus one, and the 12-year-old asked to make a speech to the party, where she told her stepmother, “I’ve known you for four years now, and I just want to say you’re the best mom ever and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else. I’m so excited for the baby. My dad got lucky, you’re way out of his league!”

Heather El Moussa & Christina Hall’s Relationship Has Had Bumps in the Road

Heather and Christina are both looking out for Taylor and Brayden, however they may not have always seen eye to eye. In May 2022, the Daily Mail obtained photos that show Tarek pulling Heather away from Christina while on the sidelines of one of Brayden’s soccer games (following the news that he had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy days prior). While rumors spread that the two couples were fighting at the game, Heather shut down any rumors a few days later with an Instagram post showing herself, Christina, Tarek, and Josh all supporting Taylor at another school event.

HGTV star Jasmine Roth, who hosts “Help! I Wrecked My House,” said she is dealing with a painful injury. The California-based designer wrote via Instagram that she is taking breaking from renovating homes to heal her body.

“Not my fave way to spend a Saturday but grateful for people who care,” Roth, 38, wrote via Instagram. “This herniated disk (c5, c6) in my neck is no joke, and the constant pain really started to wear on me this week.”

The gold coast builder said she was taking a break from work to recover.

“Thanks to the team at FORMA who squeezed me into their schedule this morning and to my whole family for stepping up (again and again) to allow me to rest and heal this weekend,” she said. “And to all the folks on my @hgtv team who are picking up the slack during the week and following me around with cold ice packs.”

It’s not the first time Roth updated fans about her injury. The HGTV star first opened up about her health in a March Instagram post.

She created a video that depicted all of the things that were difficult for her to do, like sleeping on a pillow or turning her neck.

“I’m laughing now, but what a pain in the neck,” she wrote in the post. “Been suffering from a herniated disk (c5-c6) and it has NOT been fun.”

“Definitely wasn’t expecting anything like this going into 2023 and not being at 100% has been beyond frustrating but also made me very grateful for the health and strength I have,” she continued. “To anyone who is going through pain right now, hang in there, you aren’t alone.”

Roth Said She Wants People to Be Kind

In the latter part of her post, Roth told her followers it’s important “to be kind.” She reminded people that what we see on social media isn’t always the full picture.

“And just a reminder that social media is a snapshot and we never know exactly what’s happening with each other,” the mother-of-one wrote. “Just one more reason to be kind, not judge, and to walk through life with compassion. We’re all just trying to figure things out, do our best, and build our happy and some days are easier than others.”

Roth, 38, made her debut on HGTV with “Hidden Potential” in 2017. It ran for two seasons. She then landed a new gig with “Help! I Wrecked My House,” which has aired from 2020 to 2022, according to the Internet Movie Database. 

In 2019, she garnered recognition when she won season 2 of HGTV’s competition series, “Rock the Block,” according to her bio on HGTV’s website.

Roth has been married to her husband, Brett, since 2013. They have one child together, 3-year-old Hazel. According to People, the Roths were roommates in college and then their relationship turned romantic.

Roth’s Career Was an Accident

In an interview with Locale, Roth said it wasn’t her original plan to become a home builder.

“I accidentally fell into homebuilding—I wasn’t planning to be a home builder. My husband and I took on a project that was a little bit bigger than we assumed—I ended up leaving my job in Corporate America to go manage that project, and I loved it,” she told Locale.

Roth said she and her husband tried to balance their corporate jobs with their homebuilding projects, but eventually, it became too much work — and something had to give.

Roth said she devoted her time to building and cultivating a social media following — that’s how HGTV discovered her.

“I wasn’t trying to get a TV show, I was trying to build homes and do something that I love and I was sharing it with, you know, as many people as I could,” Roth told the publication. “But when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped all over it.”

HGTV’s “Rock the Block” host Ty Pennington opened up in a June 14 Instagram post about the loss of a dear friend of his named Ed.

Ty Pennington Wants to Audition for HGTV’s Newest Series

Pennington included a shoutout for one of HGTV’s newest shows, “Flip the Strip” in his carwash post’s caption, writing, “Also @thundervegas consider this my audition! No but seriously have you guys heard about #FlipTheStrip coming soon to @hgtv ?! Genius!”

“Flip the Strip” (which is set the premiere on Monday, July 10, at 10 p.m. Eastern), follows four dancers from the Las Vegas show “Australia’s Thunder from Down Under” with prior construction experience, Ben Cleary, Dan Paterson, Liam Black and Malik Wills-Martin, as they work with interior designer Kelly Stone to flip homes in the Las Vegas area.

“The minute we found out that these guys in Australia’s Thunder from Down Under were working as renovators by day, we knew we had to put them on HGTV,” said HGTV’s Head of Content Loren Ruch, “These charismatic performers will use their unique combination of home renovation experience and problem-solving skills to create stunning spaces for their clients with signature ostentatious Las Vegas flare.”

The official “Thunder from Down Under” page commented on Pennington’s post that he would make a perfect addition to their cast, writing, “Mate 🤠 You are a natural! Giving us Big Thunder Energy right here #TyForThunder”.

Jonathan first opened up about how he approached his relationship with Deschanel’s kids when the couple first began dating, saying, “The big thing for me was them wondering, ‘Who is this giant guy who’s all of a sudden showing up around us?’ But I’m pretty good at engaging and connecting with kids. I was a professional clown for years and I can perform magic. I wasn’t going to force anything on anybody, I just wanted to let it happen naturally.”

Jonathan went on to share that one of his first big struggles in becoming a father figure in Deschanel’s children’s lives was deciding what they would call him, as they “have their dad and they have a great relationship with him, so he’s daddy. I couldn’t say papa because that’s what they call their grandpa (though at one point we tried to change the narrative and get them to call me papa instead, but they weren’t having it). Eventually they came up with ‘my Jonathan.’ So, whenever they tell a story they say, ‘There’s daddy, there’s mommy, and he’s my Jonathan.'”

Jonathan and Deschanel both have an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, as evidenced by Deschanel’s Father’s Day 2022 Instagram post, in which Jonathan and Pechenik were pictured side-by-side, each holding one of Deschanel’s children on their shoulders. Deschanel wrote in the caption, “So thankful my kids have these two awesome guys in their lives: [Jonathan Scott] and their dad [Jacob Pechenik].

Later in the interview, Jonathan shared that the adjustment to his new title of “my Jonathan” did take some time. “I also remember several times when they’d be out with other kids and someone would say, ‘Oh your daddy’s so funny,’ and they’d be like, ‘That’s not my daddy, he’s my Jonathan.’ So that would hurt a little bit. But then I realized that in their mind, that’s not a mean thing to say—it’s how they know me. Over time, I worked on expressing my feelings to them, and the things that make me sad and happy. I think it’s good for kids to know that grownups have feelings, too.”

Drew Scott Learns Parenting Tips From Jonathan

During the interview, Drew noted that “it’s nice because Jonathan is a little ahead of me, since [Drew’s son] Parker is only a year old”, so he is able to learn from his brother’s experiences with his stepchildren. One such tip Drew learned was how to handle getting children to pick up after themselves.

“One day I said to the kids, ‘Ok guys, anything you leave on the floor in your room or the playroom when you go to bed, that means you don’t want it and it’ll get thrown out or donated,'” Jonathan recounted, “Well, they didn’t believe it until the very first time I did it. They cried and were upset, but ever since if I ever say to them, ‘I guess you don’t want all this stuff on the ground?’, they’ll run in and start putting things away. Now they do a great job.”

Drew called this “one of the best tricks I’ve heard in a long time”.

Christina Hall might love Tennessee, but some Tennesseans aren’t as excited to have the real estate agent in their home state.

Hall splits her time between Tennessee and California, and she received a mixed reaction from fans when she posted a message to Instagram about living in the Volunteer State for three years.

The HGTV star posted a picture of herself and her husband standing in front of Southall Farm and Inn in Franklin, Tennessee, during a blue and orange sunset. “Oh Tennessee, it was love and first sight and 3 years later you still take my breath away. Love you too Josh 😉,” she said. “But for real, this place is good for the soul.”

One of the most popular comments on Hall’s Instagram page was from a fan who didn’t like California’s moving to Tennessee. They claimed the state had changed because of all the gold coasters.

“I hope all of you realize that if people keep moving to Tennessee from Cali(as y’all call it) it won’t take long for Tennessee to become a small version of California,” the top comment says. “I was born and raised in Tennessee and still.love here but it has already changed so much so there is no telling what the future looks like for this state.”

“Please don’t California Tennessee. Keep it Red,” another said.

“Too bad Franklin and Nashville are being ruined by the libs moving in,” a third wrote.

But some people came to Hall’s defense.

“Christina, live your life wherever you & your husband choose too. Franklin, Tennessee is a beautiful place,” one wrote.

“These comments.People can move anywhere they want, just live your life, where ever you are. Just live your life,” another wrote.

Hall, 39, and her husband, Josh 40, have been married since April 2022 after a year of dating. Hall has three children 12-year-old Taylor and 7-year-old Brayden from her marriage to Tarek El Moussa, and 3-year-old Hudson from her marriage to Ant Anstead.

Hall rose to popularity in 2013 when she and El Moussa — her then-husband — appeared on “Flip or Flop,” a show about buying and renovating homes in Southern California. El Moussa and Hall divorced in 2018, but they continued “Flip or Flop” until 2022, after 10 seasons. Hall and El Moussa both remain on HGTV, but with different shows.

Hall stars in “Christina on the Coast” and “Christina in the Country,” and El Moussa has “The Flipping El Moussas” and “Flipping 101.”

A Vacation Turned Into a Home

Hall was inspired to move to Tennessee — buying a farmhouse in May 2021 — after a friend took the leap.

“Tennessee is gorgeous and the people out there are so nice,” the real estate agent told People. “Being out there on all that land reminded me of my favorite childhood memories, which were staying summers on my grandparents’ farm. I felt so carefree and loved taking out their quads and hanging with my cousins on all the land.”

Her Tennessee home is a dream come true.

“This insanely beautiful modern farmhouse had been on the market one day so we went and saw it and I immediately fell in love and made an offer,” she told People. “It’s on 23 acres, super private and has everything I could imagine and more.”

Hall Had a  ‘Wake-up Call’  About Co-Parenting

Hall wrote on Instagram that she had a “scary” moment when her son, Brayden, underwent an “emergency appendectomy” in May 2022.

Hall said she was “reminded” of how important co-parenting can be.

“Stressful 24 hours but a good reminder how important team work / co-parenting is,” she wrote via Instagram, per Insider. “We are all under pressure but when it really matters we were all there for Brayden doing our part.”

“Sometimes a scary situation can be a good wake up call. In the end all the other stuff is just ‘noise,’ what matters is the kids,” she said. The HGTV star tagged her husband, her ex-husband and her ex’s wife, Netflix star Heather Rae Young El Moussa.

HGTV’s Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott are no strangers to healthy competition. In fact, their show “Brother vs. Brother” is all about pitting the twins against each other to see who can add the most value to a home (with the most recent winner being Jonathan).

In a behind-the-scenes clip from their show “Celebrity IOU”, in which different celebrity guests work with the Scotts to gift a renovation to somebody important to them, Jay Leno quizzed the Scott brothers to see who is the smarter twin.

“Fun thing about twins is they may look alike and share a birthday but can be quite different intellectually,” Leno opened the video.

Jay Leno Puts the Property Brothers to the Test

As Leno’s quiz began, it became apparent that he was favoring one twin with easier questions. He first asked Drew, “What color is the sky?” before moving to Jonathan to ask, “How long would it take an ant to eat a watermelon?”

This trend continued as Leno asked Drew “What happened on July 4, 1776?” (to which Drew replied “There was a celebration. Independence.”) and followed up by asking Jonathan “George Washington had a helper who worked on his land with him. What was his name?”

Drew then had to name “three typical breakfast foods” while Jonathan was asked “If you’re having breakfast in the Congo, what would you eat?” and told he was incorrect before he could get a full word out of his mouth.

Before he stormed out of the quiz, Jonathan called Leno out, asking “Are you giving preferential treatment because Drew’s wearing a typical Jay outfit?” (Leno wore a blue button-down and jeans while Drew sported a similar denim shirt and pants, which Leno called “a very attractive look”).

Drew thanked Leno for the leg up in his caption when he shared the clip on Instagram, writing, “Thanks to Jay for proving I’m smarter than Jonathan. #JayWalking”

Fans found the quiz clip hilarious, with many commenting that it is one of their favorite “Jay Walking” videos (a segment from Leno’s run on “The Tonight Show” where he would conduct man-on-the-street style interviews).

Leno appeared on “Celebrity IOU” to gift his employee of over 10 years, David, a home makeover ahead of David becoming a new father. While David was completely surprised by the renovation and was very appreciative in the moment, he also took to Instagram to reflect on Leno and the Property Brothers’ generosity.

“A huge surprise from [Jay Leno] and the [Property Brothers] — our growing family is so thankful to have been given so much!” David wrote in his post’s caption alongside a group photo of himself, his wife Margaret, their newborn son William, and the Scott brothers.

HGTV star Keith Bynum gave his peers quite the fright. The “Bargain Block” co-host joined his friend and the show’s real estate expert Shea Whitfield as they rode a slingshot amusement park ride.

When Does ‘Bargain Block’ Return to HGTV?

Good news is in store for fans who are eager to see “Bargain Block” back on their screens, as Bynum, his partner and co-host Evan Thomas, and Whitfield shared the news in a June 7 post from the official “Bargain Block” Instagram page confirming season 3 of their show would be premiering on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. HGTV confirmed the 10-episode season was greenlit in a November 2022 Press Release, citing more than 18 million viewers across the second season’s episodes.

“Keith, Evan and Shea’s passion for revitalizing homes in Detroit shines in every episode as they turn forgotten properties into uniquely beautiful homes that feature Evan’s craftsmanship and Keith’s remarkable custom art and design style. They’re on a mission to improve more neighborhoods and we’ll help them get there with this new 10-episode order,” HGTV executive Loren Ruch said at the time.

For fans who can’t wait to see Bynum and Thomas on their televisions, they will get a chance to see the couple compete in the “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge”, a four-part miniseries that will see pairs of HGTV stars compete to give different spaces in a home the full Barbie treatment. The series premieres Sunday, July 16, at 8 p.m. Eastern, and Bynum and Thomas will be featured in the third episode, where they will compete against Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt (from “100 Day Dream Home”) to bring the outdoor areas to life.

HGTV host Jasmine Roth is recovering from surgery. The “Help! I Wrecked My House” star opened up on June 10 about the circumstances that led to her spending her weekend in bed. “Saturday… resting up from a procedure this morning and sending lots of love to [people] in pain, 🫶🏼” Roth wrote in a story, which she elaborated on in a post.

“Not my fave way to spend a Saturday but grateful for people who care. This herniated disk (c5, c6) in my neck is no joke, and the constant pain really started to wear on me this week,” Roth explained.

According to the Deuk Spine Institute, Roth’s specific injury “can cause weakness in the biceps muscles of the arms and wrist extensor muscles as well as numbness and tingling along with pain that radiates to the thumb and fingertips,” and is one of the more common levels of the spine to have a herniated disk.

In her caption, Roth took the time to thank everybody who helped her heal, writing, “Thanks to the team at FORMA who squeezed me into their schedule this morning and to my whole family for stepping up (again and again) to allow me to rest and heal this weekend. And to all the folks on my [HGTV] team who are picking up the slack during the week and following me around with cold ice packs.”

Many of Roth’s fellow HGTV stars and hosts responded to her caption by sending her well-wishes in the comment section.

Jasmine Roth Warns About False Perception of Social Media

Roth ended her post’s caption with a “reminder that social media is a snapshot and we never know exactly what’s happening with each other. Just one more reason to be kind, not judge, and to walk through life with compassion.”

For her own part, Roth has hidden her hernia pain in her recent posts, which have included spotlights for her Shop Jasmine Roth home goods line, a look inside her retail location, and a preview of HGTV’s upcoming miniseries “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge”, which premieres on the network on July 16.

In the “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge” premiere, Roth is set to team up with Food Network star Antonia Lofaso (from “Beachside Brawl”) as they compete against “Married to Real Estate” stars Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson in a first-floor showdown to renovate the Dreamhouse. Barbie collaborator Jonathan Adler and Barbie Dreamhouse expert Tiffany Brooks will serve as the main judges for the series, with celebrity guest judges joining throughout the four-episode series.

“Selling Sunset” and “Flipping El Moussas” star Heather Rae Young El Moussa is ready to end the gossip.

She said she does not favor her newborn son, 4-month-old Tristan over her stepkids, 12-year-old Taylor and 7-year-old Brayden. Taylor and Brayden are the children Tarek El Moussa shares with his ex-wife, Christina Hall.

“I’ve been a staple in their lives for a long time. And I worked really hard to have a strong relationship with them from the very beginning and be a good stepmom to them and their happiness is so important to me,” Young, 35, told Us Weekly.

Young and El Moussa, 41, have been dating since 2019. They got engaged in July 2020 and tied the knot in October 2021.

“I don’t favor any of the children more than the others,” Young told the outlet. “They’re all important to me and I love them so much. And I wouldn’t be a mommy if I didn’t have Taylor and Brayden.”

According to Young, fans accused the real estate agent of favoring Tristan because she posts more pictures of him online. But Young said there are many reasons why she doesn’t spend as much time with her stepchildren: they have school, they are in activities, and they’re with their mother — Hall — half of the time.

Another thing: Young wants to be present when she’s spending time with Taylor and Brayden. “The truth is we have them 50 percent of the time and I don’t see them as much. And when we have them, we are busy,” Young told Us Weekly.

“They’re also busy with sports and tutoring— they always have something going on. I blink and it’s 8 o’clock at night,” she told Today.com. “So when we’re all together, the last thing I’m doing is standing around taking photos with all three kids.”

And sometimes, Taylor doesn’t want her picture posted online. “She’s a teenager now and she’ll be like, ‘I don’t love my hair in that picture,’ ‘Please don’t post that one,’” Young told Today.com.

The real estate agent made her debut on Netflix when “Selling Sunset” began streaming in 2019. After hooking up with El Moussa, the couple got their own show, “The Flipping El Moussas.” She was pregnant with Tristan while season 1 was filmed.

“Tarek brings the flip knowledge and Heather brings an eye for high-end real estate,” says the show’s description on HGTV’s website. “It’s all about family as ‘The Flipping El Moussas’ work together, learn together, and grow together with Tarek’s two kids and a new baby on the way.”

Before their split, Tarek and Christina made their mark on HGTV with their beloved series, “Flip or Flop.”

Young Said People ‘Don’t Understand’

Young said people can’t grasp the El Moussa’s blended family.

“People don’t understand my relationship with Taylor and Brayden,” she told Us Weekly.

“It’s OK,” she continued to the publication. “I know my strong relationship with them and how much we love each other, and I know what a devoted stepmom I am, and that’s all that matters.”

During an episode of “Selling Sunset” season 6, Taylor gushed over her stepmother during her baby shower.

“I’ve known you for four years now. I just want to say you’re the best mom ever, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else,” Taylor said at the party, per Entertainment Tonight Online.

Taylor told her stepmom she was “so excited for the baby.”

“My dad’s so lucky,” the pre-teen added, as noted by ET Online. “You’re way out of his league.”

HGTV star and designer Nate Berkus is taking it back to his high school days. “The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project” host took to Instagram on June 8 to share a childhood photo.

“15 #TBT. Double T-shirt and relieved my hat didn’t mess up my hair…” Berkus captioned the photo, which saw his younger self seated and smiling into the camera while sporting a Yankees baseball cap, two t-shirts, blue jeans, and a silver watch.

Nate Berkus & Jeremiah Brent List Their Home on Airbnb

Not only have Brent and Berkus given fans a glimpse into their family life over the years on their social media pages, but recently they made the decision to open their home up to fans when they listed their Montauk home on Airbnb. The listing boasts four bedrooms with plenty of sleeping space, a chef’s kitchen, and trails and beaches nearby.

Berkus and Brent are offering a special deal for the first to book their Airbnb, as they confirmed in the listing, “The first one-night stay (for up to 2 guests) in our Montauk home will take place on Saturday, June 10. Guests can request to book this stay for a special price of $19, a nod to the year we bought our home… Following the initial guest stay, the home will be available for additional summer bookings in the Luxe category.”

Who’s that girl? “New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel had social media users doing double takes after she posted a picture to Instagram with a different hairstyle.

Deschanel, 43, donned a blond wig in the selfie, where she posed in front of a vanity mirror. “Who’s she?” the “500 Days of Summer” star captioned the photo.

The image garnered more than 230,000 likes and over 2,600 comments, including some responses from celebrities.

One of the top comments was penned by “Pussycat Dolls” singer Nicole Scherzinger, who wrote:  “Giving me Olivia Newton john vibes!”

Deschanel is known for her raven locks, but it’s not the first time fans have seen her with blonde hair. She dyed her hair in the early 2000s when she played Jovie in “Elf,” starring Will Ferrell, Bob Newhart and James Caan.

Deschanel is currently dating HGTV personality, Jonathan Scott. They met while filming an episode of “Carpool Karaoke” in 2019, he wrote in a personal essay for Reveal, an online magazine owned by Dotdash Meredith.

Then, in April 2022, Scott revealed in his essay for Reveal that he and Deschanel bought a house together and spent two years renovating it.

“Eight months into our relationship, I already knew Zooey was the yin to my yang, the PB to my J. We were on parallel paths toward the happiness we’d been seeking our whole lives,” Scott, xx, wrote for Reveal, 45.

Drew Barrymore joked about spending time with Scott after Deschanel appeared on an episode of Barrymore’s talk show.

The “50 First Dates” star was filming “Celebrity IOU” with the Scott brothers, and she teased the “Elf” star about it.

“I’ve been hanging out with your man,” Barrymore said.

“And he’s been having so much fun with you,” Deschanel answered. “They love you.”

Barrymore then gushed over how Scott talks about Deschanel.

Scott revealed that he has a great relationship with Deschanel’s two children — Elise, 7, and Charlie, 6 — as well as her ex-husband, Jacob Pechenik.

“I always knew I would be a great dad — former clown, magician, I can build stuff — and it’s been incredible,” Scott told Today.com. “You see your life transform, your priorities become your kids, and when they have a performance that they’re doing at school, or working on some of their homework, or whatever it might be, it’s a joy.”

He always referred to Pechenik as a “wonderful” person while speaking with Today.com.

Deschanel and Pechenik split in 2019 after four years of marriage.

HGTV star Thadeus “Tad” Starsiak is engaged. The “Good Bones” contractor (and brother of host Mina Starsiak Hawk) shared the news in a June 8 Instagram post, along with some other big announcements.

“I asked the love of my life, my best friend [Anna Spiars] to marry me 💍 Anna love, I’m so excited to keep doing life with you, being weird, growing closer, and loving you more every single day. Thank you for being life’s greatest blessing baby. Thank you for all of your support in every realm of my life. ❤️” Starsiak wrote in his post’s caption.

Tad Starsiak Shares Engagement Photo

Starsiak went on to share some other good news in his post’s caption, where he wrote, “In addition to our engagement, Anna and I finished renovating our dream home in Bates Hendricks [a neighborhood in Indianapolis, where “Good Bones” takes place] and are all moved in now 🏡”.

Starsiak also shared that his family was celebrating his father’s 75th birthday, his little brother Johnny’s high school graduation, and the birth of his newest nephew, Vinny. His post included photos from their family celebration, though his sister Mina was notably absent from the post.

“I love you all and hope life is treating you well,” Starsiak ended his caption with a message to his followers, “I’ve been absent for awhile, but I’ll be posting my normal optimistic, romantic views on life again shortly. Love you fam ❤️”.

Tad is Mina Starsiak Hawk’s younger half-brother. The siblings share the same father, Casey Starsiak. While Karen Laine (Mina’s mother and “Good Bones” co-host until she retired from the renovation business in 2019) is not Tad’s biological mother, she serves a very maternal role in his life, as his mother Cheryl passed when he was young. “When I was going through that rough time, every day I woke up and she was there for me,” Tad said in an interview with HGTV, “It’s great having her as a teacher and as another mom.”

Mina Starsiak Hawk Got Married in 2016

Although she has not shared a reaction to her brother’s engagement at the time of publishing, Starsiak Hawk will be able to provide her younger brother with advice before he and Spiars tie the knot, as she walked down the aisle and married her husband, Steve Hawk, in 2016, including photos of her mother (a lawyer and licensed minister) serving as the officiant.

HGTV shared a gallery of photos from the couple’s June 11, 2016 ceremony and reception, which featured Starsiak Hawk in a mermaid-style gown. Hawk proposed to his now-wife by setting up an elaborate scavenger hunt that brought them to the 50-yard line of the Colts’ training field, where he got down on one knee.

“Down Home Fab” stars Chelsea and Cole DeBoer enjoyed a relaxing day at the beach with their family in early June.

The duo — who marked their first year on HGTV when season 1 debuted in January 2023 — posted a series of photos from their beachside getaway, which began on June 1, according to Chelsea’s posts. The couple didn’t reveal which country or state they were vacationing in, though one commenter wrote that their condo in Siesta Key, Florida, is in the photo’s background, and another said they saw the DeBoers in Siesta Key.

Captioning one sunset video, Chelsea wrote, “Woweeeee I’m grateful.” Cole answered in the comments section, “Love you!”

Chelsea, 31, first appeared on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” in 2009 and welcomed her eldest daughter, 13-year-old Aubree, when she was 17. She went on to star on “Teen Mom 2” from 2011 to 2019. She met Cole, now 35, when she was 22.. The DeBoers have been married since 2016 and have three children together: 6-year-old Watson, 4-year-old Layne and 2-year-old Walker June.

Chelsea posted a video that contained a bunch of moments from their trips, like Aubree swimming in the ocean, Layne eating pizza, Walker snacking on strawberries, Cole running into the water, and the family playing in the sand.

Fans Noticed Something Interesting About Cole’s Beach Photo

Cole only made one social media post — and it included an interesting detail.

At first glace, it’s an ordinary picture that shows Cole and Chelsea gazing into each other’s eyes on the beach. Walker June and Layne are shown in the background. The father-of-four captioned the photo, “My world.”

Many fans in the comments section wrote that they noticed Chelsea has Cole’s name tattooed in script on her backside. It peeps out from the bottom of Chelsea’s black bikini bottom in the photo.

Is ‘Down Home Fab’ Coming Back?

Before season 1 of “Down Home Fab” finished airing, HGTV greenlit the show for a sophomore season.

“You guys don’t understand how much this means to us,” Chelsea said in February when HGTV first told her their show was renewed. “I have been refreshing the ratings all day because I just want to show you guys that we’re doing a good job. I just feel like this means so much to us.”

“Coming from a show like ‘Teen Mom,’ I feel like it’s hard to get people to believe in you,” she added. “And so I never felt like anything I did, anyone took me seriously. And this just feels so good, and I just I feel very proud of it. I’m so happy.”

The DeBoers left “Teen Mom 2” in 2020.

Cole said he was “grateful” for season 2 of “Down Home Fab.”

“We couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much, honestly,” he said. “It’s a dream come true. It really is, and we’re extremely grateful for this opportunity. And we’re going to work our a**** off.”

HGTV is getting ready for its “biggest, boldest, most Barbie-est build” ever, as the network has announced a premiere date for its new miniseries, “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge”. The series, which follows the largest team of HGTV stars ever assembled as they work to bring the iconic Barbie Dreamhouse playset to life, will premiere on Sunday, July 16, at 8 p.m. Eastern, according to a June 8 press release by the network.

Host Ashley Graham said, “The pressure is on for the teams to unleash their creativity far beyond their usual design parameters to dream up a place that Barbie would be proud to call home.”

The four-episode series will feature teams of HGTV talent (and one Food Network star) as they race to pull off the Dreamhouse renovation, with Barbie collaborator Jonathan Adler and HGTV designer Tiffany Brooks serving as judges. The premiere episode, 90 minutes long, will include a field trip for the designers to the Mattel headquarters.

‘Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge’ Guest Judges Unveiled

In addition to the premiere date, HGTV also revealed three of the celebrity guest judges would be popping by the Dreamhouse.

Episode 2 will feature Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner, who will help determine a winner between two teams, Ty Pennington (“Rock the Block”) and Alison Victoria (“Windy City Rehab”) vs. Jonathan Knight and Kristina Crestin (“Farmhouse Fixer”), as they work on the den and primary suite, respectively.

Episode 3 will see Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (“Bargain Block”) face off against Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt (“100 Day Dream Home”) to bring the outdoor areas to life (with Bynum and Thomas working on the front yard and the Kleinschmidts focusing on the back yard). Producer and “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin will appear as a guest judge.

The final episode will include a face-off between Christina Hall and James Bender (“Christina on the Coast”), who are working on the closet and dressing room, and Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle (“Luxe for Less”), who are working on Barbie’s office. The celebrity guest judge for this round is fashion designer Christian Siriano, who has plenty of judging experience in his role as the mentor on Bravo’s “Project Runway”.

‘Barbie’ Premieres in Theaters on July 21

The “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge” timing aligns perfectly with the July 21 release of the new “Barbie” movie, directed by Greta Gerwig (“Little Women”, “Lady Bird”), which stars Margot Robbie as the titular toy and Ryan Gosling as Barbie’s boyfriend Ken.

While not much is known about the plot of the movie, the trailer released in late May 2023 shows Robbie’s Barbie and Gosling’s Ken leaving their seemingly perfect Barbie world for an adventure in the real world, while Will Ferrell (as the CEO of Mattel) attempts to track her down and bring her back to the Barbie world.

Robbie also serves as a producer through her LuckyChap production company and told Vogue that when she first pitched the idea of a Barbie movie to the team at Mattel, she wasn’t sure what the movie would be about.

“We of course would want to honor the 60-year legacy that this brand has,” Robbie said, “But we have to acknowledge that there are a lot of people who aren’t fans of Barbie. And in fact, aren’t just indifferent to Barbie. They actively hate Barbie. And have a real issue with Barbie. We need to find a way to acknowledge that.”

“Home Town” star Ben Napier is unrecognizable in a throwback photo posted via Instagram on May 20. The HGTV star, 39, displayed a photo from when he was in grade school.

Napier’s grade school picture rested against a maroon Laurel Mercantile mug. The photo had a red background, and Napier was wearing a black-and-blue striped T-shirt with blue jeans and aviator-style seeing glasses.

“That time I showed up to picture day knowing I was gonna stunt cause I’d just gotten new eyeglasses just like my granddaddy’s,” he captioned the image. “Lookin fresh to death with my #BugleBoy shirt tucked in.”

The post amassed more than 22,000 likes and over 200 comments.

“This made me literally laugh out loud. Cute little Benjamin,” one fan wrote.

“What a handsome man you turned out to be and a wonderful, smart, caring, husband and father!!” another said. “Way to go!”

Napier helps revamps houses with his wife, Erin, on HGTV shows like “Home Town,” “Home Town Takeover” and “Home Town Kickstart.” They’ve been on the network since “Home Town” aired for the first time in 2016.

The Napiers have been married since 2008 and have two daughters together: Helen, 2; and Mae, 2 . The couple likes to keep their children’s personal life private and rarely features them on HGTV.

In 2016, the Napiers opened Laurel Mercantile in Mississippi, where they sell American-made apparel, kitchenware, and much more. In November 2022, Erin launched her Scents Library, a candle store dedicated to honoring the connection between scent and memory.

How ‘Home Town’ Will Address Ben Napier’s Surgery

Ben Napier underwent surgery for a torn rotator cuff, and his recovery coincided with his recovery.

Even though they were working on five houses for “Home Town” while Ben was hurt, the injury is going to be featured in one episode.

“We’re telling that story on one episode,” Ben said during a stint on Drew Barrymore’s talk show in May. “So you’ll all see it. And Jim who’s on the show, Erin’s cousin, he is my left arm.

“He is doing all the work. You see it on the show. You see him come in and do it and it’s hilarious because he’s a financial advisor and he’s sitting here with these construction guys and he’s doing a great job,” Ben added.

Ben Had Special Nurses Take Care of Him

Erin Napier shared an Instagram post that showed Ben recovering from surgery. He was sitting on the couch and had a bunch of stuffed animals around him. Erin held out a picture done by Helen. It was a bunch of hearts and she wrote her name in crayon on the bottom.

She wrote:

In a video posted on April 5, Ben shared a video via Instagram that showed his shoulder covered in “special” colorful bandaids. “I’ve got the BEST nursing staff at my house. Gonna be good in no time,” he wrote.

So the doctors said I had to wear a sling and do therapy for seven weeks,” he says at the beginning of the video, panning to his bandaged shoulder. “But I got a secret weapon.”

Erin, who was in the background, said Helen helped select the bandaids. “You’re gonna be fine,” she said, before walking away.

HGTV’s “Home Town” host Erin Napier is a woman of many talents. In addition to her thriving design business, visual art, and writing projects, a video recently re-surfaced of Napier bringing her singing talents to the forefront.

House Beautiful reported on the clip, from February 2011, in which Napier accompanies herself on a red electric guitar while singing Janis Joplin’s version of “Me and Bobby McGee” (originally written by Kris Kristofferson and performed by Roger Miller), which she said was “always what people ask me to play”, at City Centre Crepes & Coffeehouse in Laurel, Mississippi.

Just before her Sara Bareilles performance, Napier reflected on her musical journey, telling the audience “I used to do this all the time when I was 14 or 15 and Shane was my guitar teacher and I played here a lot so this is kind of weird doing it again.”

“Home Town” fans have loved seeing Napier’s talents expanding over the years, and many commented about her singing voice on the videos.

Napier has years of performance experience, as she shared in an August 2021 social media post that was in a band called Sunday’s Maria “(an homage to Maria from all those [Counting Crows] songs)” in high school. Napier confirmed in her post’s caption, “…we played a lot of Blind Melon and Alanis Morrissette and Ani DiFranco and Barenaked Ladies cover songs. I played at coffee shops and made my gas money. I had a hula girl on the dashboard of my Mitsubishi Eclipse and a ‘Joe Patti for President 🐠’ sticker on the bumper. #themoreyouknow”.

Erin & Ben Napier Presented at the Country Music Awards

Although Napier focuses on her design work and HGTV show to pay the bills, she and her husband Ben Napier are still very much into music and have made friends with some big names in the music world as well. In November 2022, the Napiers were given the honor of presenting at the Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. What’s more, they were able to present the award for Male Vocalist of the Year to their good friend Chris Stapleton.

“It got a little dusty on the stage for me,” Ben wrote on Instagram, reflecting on the moment, “This was a big moment for us, and to be able to present Chris with his 6th male vocalist of the year award amplified it even more. We will tell our grandchildren about this night.”

Heather El Moussa is putting her foot down. The Netflix-turned-HGTV personality addressed accusations that she favors her infant son, 4-month-old Tristan, over her two stepchildren, 12-year-old Taylor and 7-year-old Brayden.

El Moussa, 35, told Today.com that whenever she posts a picture of her baby, social media users want to know about the older children. The real estate agent told Today.com that people online say things like, “Where are the other children? Haven’t seen them on your stories lately?”

The “Selling Sunset” star told the publication that it’s easier for her to take pictures of her baby than her stepchildren, who are Tarek El Moussa’s children from his marriage to his ex-wife, fellow HGTV star Christina Hall.

“Taylor and Brayden are in school all day, and I’m home with Tristan. I can capture moments with Tristan easily,” the TV personality old Today.com.

She told Today.com that Hall, 39, and Tarek El Moussa, 41, have a 50/50 custody agreement, so that makes it possible for her to spend more time with the baby than Taylor and Brayden.

El Moussa said the older kids also have other activities.

“They’re also busy with sports and tutoring— they always have something going on. I blink and it’s 8 o’clock at night,” she told Today.com. “So when we’re all together, the last thing I’m doing is standing around taking photos with all three kids.”

Taylor, who is a preteen now, doesn’t always want her pictures on social media, El Moussa told the publication.

“She’s a teenager now and she’ll be like, ‘I don’t love my hair in that picture,’ ‘Please don’t post that one,’” the real estate agent told the outlet.

El Moussa has been a part of “Selling Sunset” since it debuted on Netflix in 2019. She and Tarek El Moussa began dating in July 2019 and tied the knot in October 2021, per People. The Netflix star announced her pregnancy in July 2022 and in January 2023 they welcomed their first child, as noted by People.

The El Moussas got their own reality TV show on HGTV, called “Flipping El Moussas,” which aired from March to April.

El Moussa Was Called ‘The Best Mom’

El Moussa invited Taylor to her baby shower, which was filmed for “Selling Sunset,” and the 12-year-old asked to give a mini-speech at the event.

“I’ve known you for four years now. I just want to say you’re the best mom ever, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else,” Taylor said at the event, which was documented during episode 10, season 6 of “Selling Sunset,” as noted by Entertainment Tonight Online.

Taylor said during the episode that she was “so excited for the baby.”

“My dad’s so lucky,” she continued, according to ET Online. “You’re way out of his league.”

El Moussa Loves Being a ‘Bonus Mom’

The “Selling Sunset” star referred to herself as a “bonus mom” in a July 2021 Instagram post, three months before she and her husband got married.

“Never knew what it was like to feel this much love and joy before these babies came into my life,” she wrote. “Being a bonus mom has been the biggest blessing.”

“I can’t even picture my life without them now!” El Moussa wrote, referring to Taylor and Brayden. “They’re our number one priority no matter what and I really don’t think there’s anything more special than seeing two kids grow up and blossom into who they’re supposed to be.”

HGTV’s “Home Town” co-host Erin Napier took to Instagram on Monday, June 5 to share two pieces of art that her daughters, 5-year-old Helen and 2-year-old Mae, created.

“Fun in the Sun by Helen Napier : marker and colored pencils. Colors! by Mae Napier : tempera sticks,” Napier captioned her post. Helen’s work depicts the Napiers’ family of four, all with hearts for bodies, basking in the sunlight. Erin’s husband Ben Napier (a blue heart with a hat on) towers over all three of his family members, while Erin (a green heart with no arms), Helen (a pink heart), and Mae (dark green) stand next to him in descending height order. Mae’s abstract piece is filled with different overlapping colors in various squiggly lines.

This is not the first time Napier has shared her daughters’ artwork, and as per usual, fans were quick to hop into the “Home Town” host’s comment section to share their love for the design star’s daughters’ work.

One of the latest pieces of art Napier received was a Mother’s Day gift from Helen’s school. Erin shared a photo of the gift, a custom-painted tile with Helen’s name and hand outline carved into it. “My first Muffins with Mom at school,” Erin wrote in her post’s caption, “My gosh what a privilege to be someone’s home, mama, comfort. Between this and the cuddles from Mae this morning who told me ‘you my bess fren,’ feeling like I my heart could bust”.

Helen & Mae Napier Have Been Closer Than Ever

Napier’s daughters are sharing more than just a love for art lately. Napier shared a photo of her daughters standing side-by-side at a rehearsal for one of Helen’s dance recitals, looking up at the dancers on stage.

“All of a sudden, they’re becoming a team. Mae was cheering in the front row, and Helen was squinting into the spotlight, smiling and waving from the stage for her baby sister who called back, ‘HEY SISSY!'” Erin captioned the May 26 post, “As they watched the younger ballerinas do their rehearsal, Helen whispered to Mae, ‘you can be up there one day.’ It’s fascinating to watch siblings become friends.”

Napier’s openness with her daughters’ big moments drew in many fan comments, with different users sharing their own sweet sibling stories. “The most interesting and beautiful journey in the whole wide world, and just wait until the booboo’s get bigger and one is running to the fridge, spills 100 pieces of ice all over the floor while getting the few that made it into the ziploc to sissy’s forehead as quickly as possible,” one user commented.

HGTV’s latest season of “Fixer to Fabulous” ended in March 2023, and while Jenny and Dave Marrs have appeared on the network in other projects since then, an official decision has been made as to the fate of their flagship show.

HGTV revealed in a June 5 press release that not only will “Fixer to Fabulous” be returning for a 16-episode fifth season, but the Marrses are taking their show on the road for a four-episode spinoff series, “Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano”, both of which are set to premiere in 2024, with exact premiere dates not yet confirmed.

‘Fixer to Fabulous’ is Getting a Spin-Off Mini-Series

Loren Ruch, HGTV’s Head of Content, spoke about the network’s decision to keep working with Jenny and Dave, saying the couple’s “loyal fan base comes back season after season for their incredible Bentonville overhauls. We can’t wait to showcase the Marrs as their fans have never seen them before, completely out of their element for a remarkable renovation set in the stunning Tuscan countryside.”

“Fixer to Fabulous: Italiano” will see the Marrses traveling overseas to work on renovating a “crumbling centuries-old Italian villa”, according to the press release. This spin-off announcement is a long time coming for the Marrses, who are frequent travelers and have been to Italy many times. The couple has been posting photos and videos from their recent Italy trips on their social media pages as well, teasing the spin-off to come.

“We first visited Italy sixteen years ago. We stayed in the dreamy village of Greve in Chianti and absolutely fell in love with the culture, the people, the language and the food. At the time, I wrote in my worn leather travel journal, ‘this place is magical. Somehow, it feels both foreign and familiar, as though my soul is connected to this soil. I can only dream of coming back again and again and again’,” Jenny wrote in a May 2 Instagram post, going on to mention a secret “project” that brought her and Dave back to Greve in Chianti.

Jenny Marrs is Coming Out With a Book

For those who can’t wait until 2024 to see more of the Marrses in their lives, they will have a chance to pick up some new tips and stories from Jenny when she releases her first ever book, “House + Love = Home”, which hits shelves in bookstores nationwide on November 14, 2023.

“I didn’t want to write a standard how-to guide for decorating or renovating your home. There are enough beautiful and well-written books on the subject out there already. And, honestly, I don’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all guide that accounts for personal style and preference. Instead, I wanted to write a book to encourage you to be creative with your home,” Jenny explained in a May 15 Instagram post announcing her book and unveiling the cover, which features a photo of Jenny sitting on a staircase smiling at the camera.

“I’m so very proud of you Jenny! I know how much heart and time you have put into this book,” Dave commented on his wife’s post.

HGTV’s newest host Veronica Valencia is not a stranger to the network, as she appeared earlier this year as a guest judge on season 4 of “Rock the Block”, where she and “Windy City Rehab” star Alison Victoria teamed up to choose the winner of the Lower Level Face-Off.

Now, Valencia is leaving the competition setting behind as she prepares for the premiere of her own show on the network, “Revealed”, where she incorporates her clients’ family history and heritage into her home designs for them. HGTV announced in a press release that “Revealed” will premiere on Thursday, June 29, at 10 p.m. Eastern.

“As a Mexican and Native American designer, culture and tradition have always played a vital role in my life,” Valencia said of her new series, “I’ve been inspired to tell a family’s story through design in over 600 home renovations, and I believe that discovering our roots can profoundly influence every aspect of our lives.”

Veronica Valencia is Moving From Behind the Camera to In Front of It

Valencia is thrilled to have a premiere date for her new series, and for the outpouring of support that she received from fans and followers upon the premiere date announcement.

“I am truly overwhelmed with the amount of support and love shown towards the official release date of our little baby #HGTVRevealed. For those of you who don’t know me, this has been YEARSSSS in the making,” Valencia wrote in a June 2 Instagram post.

Valencia went on to elaborate about the journey her career has taken her on to get to this point, writing, “I’m 37 and I’ve been in the design industry for 20 years, and 15 of those years have been running the behind-the-scenes design teams for some of the most well known makeover shows on television. […] at 22 I hopped on my first airplane ride ever to join the design team for ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition'”.

Valencia also admitted that she asked for her HGTV show, after putting in years and years of work behind the scenes.

One show that she gained experience on prior to appearing in front of the camera was “Help! I Wrecked My House”, with host Jasmine Roth, where Valencia worked as a production designer.
