A former star from ”The Bachelor” franchise was front and center at the Stanley Cup championship game—and her baby had the best seat in the house.

On June 13, 2023, the Vegas Golden Knights scored their first-ever Stanley Cup win after defeating the Florida Panthers, 9-3. The Golden Knights have only been an NHL team for six seasons, according to CNN.

After the winning game, Bachelor Nation star Emily Ferguson joined her husband, Golden Knights forward William Karlsson, on the ice to celebrate, and she found the perfect place to put their newborn son.

In a video shared to Instagram, Emily, 30, and her husband were seen with their newborn son, Beckham, as they celebrated the  Golden Knights’ Stanley cup win. The “Bachelor in Paradise” star wore a glittery gold jacket as she posed with her husband and son before the tiny baby was placed inside the Stanley Cup as the Queen song “We Are the Champions” played. Emily and her husband both kissed baby Beckham as he sat in the winner’s cup.

The Stanley Cup win came just one month after baby Beckham’s birth.  On May 12, Emily announced the arrival of her first baby on Instagram. “Beckham William Karlsson 💚 born May 12th,2023 at 1:33am,” she captioned the pic. “Our big, strong healthy boy weighing 8lbs 2oz. You’re Pappa’s Twin! We love you more than you’ll ever know🥰.”

Shortly after her 2022 wedding, Emily told Us Weekly she and her husband wanted to start a  family right away. “We’ve been ready for kids for a while now,” she said. “We would be beyond blessed and thrilled if we get pregnant soon after the wedding. We do not want to pressure ourselves but if it happens it happens, and we will be so happy.”

Emily Ferguson’s Twin Sister Haley is Also Married to a Pro Hockey Player

Emily and her twin sister, Haley, made history as dual contestants on Ben Higgins’ season of ‘The Bachelor,” then went on to try again on “Bachelor in Paradise.”  While they didn’t find lasting love on the ABC dating franchise, both women found love off-camera – with hockey players.

In June 2022, Haley married professional hockey player Oula Palve in Las Vegas, according to people. The wedding came one month before her twin sister Emily married Karlsson.

Like her sister, Haley wants to have babies. But in May 2023, she revealed she was having trouble conceiving. In a TikTok video, Haley held up a negative pregnancy test. “Since everyone is announcing their 2023 babies,” she captioned the clip. “8 months of negative pregnancy tests.”

“Will continue to pray for our sweet little miracle. Gotta trust that the right time will come no matter how hard the wait is,” she wrote in the caption. Haley also replied to a commenter to reveal, “My husband and I both got fertility testing done before we started trying just to make sure everything was good. All is good on both sides.”

In May 2023, Haley also announced that she was moving to Europe for her husband’s hockey career.

A former “Bachelor in Paradise” star recently experienced an unexpected and concerning medical situation, and she shared the details with franchise fans. Jade Roper keeps busy these days with her three children with her “Bachelor Nation” husband, Tanner Tolbert, but her focus shifted not long ago when she had to manage an issue that had fans worried.

Here’s what you need to know:

Jade Roper Broke out in Hives

On June 6, Bachelor Nation shared screenshots and details from Roper’s now-expired Instagram Stories regarding the rough situation. In one Instagram Story, Roper showed a photo of her very swollen face. “Still can’t believe this was my face two weeks ago. Lots of DM’s about my hives and swollen face and if I ever found out the reason,” the former “Bachelor” contestant wrote. She also shared photos showing her back and her abdomen covered in red hives. She explained at its worst, “My body was also 90% covered in hives.” While Roper has since recovered, she noted she had not been able to pinpoint the cause of the severe hives. “I never found anything out besides it was probably caused by stress or hormones or Mast Cell activation.”

According to the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, mast cell activation syndrome involves an anaphylactic reaction that does not seem to have a specific cause. The symptoms may include hives, flushing, itching, and swelling, along with heart-related problems like low blood pressure, rapid pulse, and passing out. People may also experience wheezing or shortness of breath, as well as diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting. Mast Cell Action explains that mast cells are blood cells that are central to the body’s immune system. The mast cells detect potential immunity-related triggers and send out mast cell mediators, which are chemicals, to signal one’s system how to respond. In mast cell activation syndrome, however, the mast cell mediators are sent out too often or at volumes that are too high, potentially reacting to triggers that should not be considered truly harmful. Chemicals or food often turn out to be catalysts for this happening.

Roper Has Been Better Since the Initial Incident

When updating fans, the “Bachelor in Paradise” star reassured fans, “I’m completely better now, I was worried about them resurfacing, because I heard that was common, but nothing so far thankfully.” Roper also noted, “I’ve been taking a histamine blocker before meals, so maybe that’s been really helpful.” Bachelor Nation noted this was not the first time Roper shared an incident regarding an allergic reaction, but this case seemed particularly unsettling for her. Luckily, she has been able to put the incident behind her and has not had any further issues so far.

In April, Roper shared a different kind of update with “Bachelor in Paradise” fans. Roper and Tolbert, who met during season 2 and have children Emerson, Brooks, and Reed, decided they wanted to try for a fourth child. She had dreamt of welcoming a Christmas baby, but found she was not pregnant during the timeframe where that could happen. She told fans, “Tanner and I decided we are only going to loosely try for a couple months and not stress about it and if it’s meant to be, then it’s meant to be.” The couple did not have immediate success in getting pregnant again, but Roper explained, “It’s really a weird feeling, because Reed is SUCH the baby of the family, but I still feel there’s one more baby out there for us. It’s a heart tug.”

Becca Kufrin and her “Bachelor in Paradise” fiance, Thomas Jacobs, will welcome their first child in the fall. The couple has shared quite a few updates since surprising fans with the exciting news, and in a recent string of social media posts, Kufrin revealed some details on the more serious side of what she has been experiencing.

Becca Kufrin Has Several Restrictions in Place

On June 2, Kufrin gave “Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” fans a chance to ask her questions about her pregnancy. She answered a handful of questions via her Instagram Stories, and screenshots of those were shared in “The Bachelor” subreddit. Kufrin explained she has a condition called placenta previa, which “basically means my placenta is covering my cervix. ‘Normally’ it’s on top but in my case it’s on the bottom.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, placenta previa can lead to “Severe, possibly life-threatening vaginal bleeding (hemorrhage)… during the pregnancy, labor, delivery or in the first few hours after delivery.” The condition means that Kufrin will be carefully monitored by her medical team to reduce the risks of significant complications. The condition can correct itself during the pregnancy, but when it does not, delivery happens via cesarean section.

“The Bachelorette” star further explained, “So I can’t travel on a plane, work out or do anything other than walk.” she admitted she is “slowly losing my mind and have had a rough couple weeks,” but added, “as long as bebe is healthy I’m good.” Kufrin also admitted that so far, her experience with pregnancy had not been what she had expected. Despite that, she’s adapting. “Thankfully I’ve had a lot of support from my friends and fam, started some new meds and [am] really focusing on my mental health so we’re taking it day by day.”

Kufrin Shared Lighter Pregnancy-Related Details Too

Kufrin admitted she has had some major cravings throughout her pregnancy, including “Anything with sugar. I’m basically buddy the elf.” Additional cravings have included Greek yogurt parfaits, Cheetos, and pears. The former “Bachelorette” shared that one time when she was craving Cheetos, Jacobs “came back 10 minutes later with the best surprise. We don’t deserve you Tommy.” The photo Kufrin included showed Thomas holding two full-sized bags of different versions of Cheetos in his hands as he seemingly returned from the store to grab his fiancee what she craved.

Jacobs has been incredibly supportive throughout the pregnancy, Kufrin noted. “He’s been wanting to be a dad for years but he’s been more supportive, loving and patient than I ever could have imagined. I wouldn’t be able to do this without him and I’m so grateful he’s my partner through the ups and downs of pregnancy.” She admitted she has had times where she has missed items women are advised to avoid, like sushi, deli meats, and wine, but Jacobs supports her through those frustrations. “Both me & the little dude are so lucky to have him. He also said he will take on a majority of the diaper duty so I think I’ll keep him,” the “Bachelor in Paradise” star added.

Quite a few Redditors shared their thoughts on Kufrin’s Instagram Stories. Several noted the experiences they had with placenta previa themselves or via loved ones, and Kufrin’s honesty about pregnancy not being what she expected resonated with a lot of commenters.

“Placenta previa is scary! It sounds like she’s in good spirits all things considered. I can [imagine] that such a diagnosis would make things even harder than a typical pregnancy (which is already hard!),” shared one Redditor.

“The comment about pregnancy not being what she was expecting hits home. We are sold a false bill of goods about being all glowing and sh**, but that’s not the case for most women I know… Poor Becca, having those complications is so hard,” added another.

“Okay I wasn’t very invested before but I love them together now,” read another comment.

In a new interview, “Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” star Connor Brennan opened up about his trans sister and his family’s journey with LGTBQ+ allyship, which he admitted “was hard at first,” but he’s so proud of his sister for her bravery and his parents for being so supportive.

Connor Brennan’s Sister Came Out As Trans to Their Parents in 2017

In an interview with Bachelor Nation, Brennan talked about the first time his sister Deirdre came out as trans to their parents. He already knew, but she told their parents over Christmas break. It was really hard for her to get the words out, but Brennan said his parents could not have handled it better.

“[She] started sobbing,” Brennan recalled. “She tried to talk but couldn’t for 10 minutes, and my parents said, ‘Whatever it is, it’s going to be OK.’ She finally told them that she is trans and that she’s a woman and my mom just said, ‘OK. Everything is great. We’ll figure it out.'”

Brennan continued, “My dad’s reaction was best, though. He took a second and then looked at her and said, ‘OK, is this going to make you happy?’ and my sister said yes, and he just replied, saying, ‘OK, great. Well, we love you no matter what. Now I gotta go mow the lawn.’ It was so amazing because it was casual, and while it took us some time to educate ourselves, now we know it should just feel as normal as that.”

He went on to say that “being trans is a part of life,” it’s not “some big showstopping thing.”

“I want to try to teach people that — because it’s a beautiful, normal part of everyday life. Just because it might not be how you experience the world doesn’t mean it’s not real,” said Brennan.

Brennan Did Say That it ‘Was Hard at First,’ Though, & His Family Had to Educate Themselves

Brennan admitted that it was hard for him to suddenly go from thinking about her as his little brother to his little sister.

“I’ll be honest; it was hard at first. It wasn’t just, like, drop-of-a-hat change because it’s someone I’ve known for 22 years that I thought was my little brother and that’s how I thought of her for my whole life. If I’m being totally candid, my mind pushed back at first and said that can’t be true,” said Brennan.

He added, “Like at first, I felt like I was losing a brother, like he was dying, which is so dramatic and it does not have to be like that. I am upset at myself that I even felt that way, but that’s how I felt in the moment. I quickly started to realize though that my sister was the exact same person, just happier.”

But he has always considered himself an LGTBQ+ ally, so he realized that who is he to “tell someone that who they are is wrong?”

“People try to impose their own worldview on everyone else and that’s really self-centered. The only way to live isn’t just your one lens. We can’t know everything, so I had to step outside of my own life experience. Unfortunately, many others refuse to do that, but that’s where I started. My mom really led us all and I started unpacking and unlearning on my own,” said Brennan, adding that once they started using Deirdre’s proper pronouns and she could “express her gender freely, she lit up and really came into herself.”

“I could truly see her glow,” said Brennan.

Brennan Said the Anti-Trans Legislation Has Been ‘Really Tough’ On Their Family

In the past couple of years, there have been numerous states enacting anti-trans legislation in the form of outlawing gender affirming care to people under 26 or guardians and teachers being allowed to misgender a student’s pronouns or banning books about gender fluidity or pronouns.

Brennan said that has “been really tough” for his family and his sister, not mincing words in saying that just talking about the legislation is making his blood boil.

Brennan said:

This past year, there has been so much awful legislation against trans people and it can honestly be really discouraging. We’re from southern Illinois near St. Louis, and my sister just moved across the river to Missouri. Missouri has some really terrible anti-trans legislation going on right now. It’s so hard because I’ve finally gotten to see my sister be herself, which has brought her so much joy, but every time a new bill comes up, it really deflates her.

It’s a reminder that, well, it’s a reminder that people wish she was dead. That’s really what it comes down to. They are trying to legislate trans people out of existence. Call it what you want to call it, but they just really wish trans people would disappear. I’m getting emotional now just talking about it and I feel my blood boiling because it’s been really tough on us.

He said that it gets “overwhelming” at times, but they are trying to push back against it any way they can.

“My mom continues to go to meetings in St. Louis and does talks at colleges and churches to be a voice. We have hope that most people don’t feel the way that those really loud, angry voices feel. Unfortunately, though, many of them hold positions of power. It can feel like the world is against us, but really, it’s just a small group of assholes. I also think that some of them don’t even actually care — they are just trying to get votes and stay in office. We’re trying to stay loud and stay positive,” said Brennan.

He said that fortunately, his whole extended family has really embraced Deirdre and that it’s so important for trans people to feel that support.

“My mom told me a statistic once that if even one person in a trans person’s life supports them it can cut the suicide rate in half. Be that one person,” said Brennan.

The 2023 season of “Bachelor in Paradise” debuts in the fall, and spoilers are already starting to emerge. ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 9 Is Filming Now

On June 5, host Jesse Palmer shared a snapshot on Instagram teasing, “It’s about that time!” He stood next to long-time “Bachelor in Paradise” bartender Wells Adams, who jokingly added an “almost paradise” comment from the show’s long-time theme song. The two men are ready to start filming, and in his June 6 podcast, Reality Steve revealed the names of several others who are apparently also ready to get started. The spoiler blogger indicated filming was starting on June 6, and he noted there are typically at least 16 former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants who hit the beach during the initial introductions.

Reality Steve’s spoilers noted that, as is typical, many of the season 9 “Bachelor in Paradise” contestants will be women from Zach Shallcross’ season of “The Bachelor” and men from Charity Lawson’s upcoming “Bachelorette” run. He does not have all of the names yet, but he mentioned he believes Sean McLaughlin and Tanner Courtad will be on the cast, along with Kat Izzo, Jess Girod, Mercedes Northrup, and Cat Wong. He mentioned that Brayden Bowers from Lawson’s season was “probably” going to be on season 9 too.

Some Notable Former Contestants Are Hitting the Beach

Over the past few months, there had been quite a bit of speculation within “Bachelor Nation” regarding the season 9 cast. Specifically, many fans were wondering how many former “Bachelor” or “Bachelorette” leads might pop up as contestants on season 9. Reality Steve’s spoilers indicate that neither Michelle Young nor Gabby Windey is going to be there, nor will Peter Weber. Clayton Echard said a while back in an Instagram Story he would not be a contestant, despite some speculation he would hit the beach. Spoilers indicate, however, that one former lead will be on season 9: Rachel Recchia.

Other notable former contestants Reality Steve mentioned include Blake Moynes, who was briefly engaged to “Bachelorette” Katie Thurston, as well as Nate Mitchell and Tyler Norris from Rechia and Windey’s season. Reality Steve also noted he was “pretty sure” Aven Jones would be on “Bachelor in Paradise” too. Could Recchia end up finding true love with one of the guys who had originally been on her season after all? Spoilers from Reality Steve indicated Gabi Elnicki, who was the runner-up during Shallcross’ “Bachelor” season, would not pop up in paradise.

From season 8, Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby remain a couple, but Brandon Jones and Serene Russell ended their engagement in May. Andi Dorfman’s Wedding Took Place in Italy

After Dorfman and Hart’s wedding weekend, the former “Bachelorette” shared some highlights via her Instagram page. “And they lived happily ever after …. @blaineh86 and this entire day has been beyond my wildest dreams,” she captioned a photo from the stunning event. The nuptials took place in Sorrento, Italy, and there were a handful of “Bachelor Nation” stars in attendance. People noted Dorfman’s wedding was a three-day event, which included a sunset cruise along the Amalfi Coast and a pool party the following day.

“Getting to spend my life with Blaine and being in love with him as much as I am is something that’s like a dream come true to me,” the “Bachelorette” star gushed. Dorfman and Hart shared their handwritten vows with 75 of their most treasured family members and friends in attendance.

The ceremony took place outdoors at the Conca del Sogno resort, overlooking Recommone Bay. After the bride and groom were officially married, everybody enjoyed a sunset cruise along the coast and spent the evening celebrating at the Excelsior Vittoria Hotel. Dorfman told People, “I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect day. Being able to walk around and call Blaine my husband is already so much fun!”

Dorfman Wore Multiple Dresses Throughout the Wedding Event

Dorfman wore a Karan Sabag wedding gown as she exchanged vows with Hart. The gown had a high slit, buttons down the back, and was corseted, and the bride added Manolo Blahnik shoes and a tulle veil. The former “Bachelorette” admitted to People, “I’m getting married, obviously, for love and for Blaine, but I’m having a wedding for the dresses.” Her stylist Liza Lieberman noted Dorfman wore the “Palomer” dress by Chosen by Kyha for the rehearsal dinner, and she wore two different dresses as she celebrated after the wedding ceremony.

In an Instagram post where Dorfman gushed over the “Reception of our dreams,” she noted she wore one of her “favorite looks of the week” with a gown by Bridal Reflections. It was a “customized reception gown,” the bridal shop detailed on Instagram, with a “pearl-detailed corset bustier and asymmetrical draping.”

Another look came for the late night hours. “After the party is the after party,” Dorfman detailed in another Instagram post. For the late-night celebration, “The Bachelorette” star wore a dress by Dana Harel Design that was transformed into the “most fun mini ever!” In addition, at one point of the evening, Dorfman added sneakers and a jacket over the mini dress. She explained the jacket was inspired by a photo from Dorfman’s engagement and became “the sequin bomber of my dreams!”

The Wedding Was a Grand Time for All

Guests dined on steamed lobster, pasta, and sea bass for dinner, and the dessert included a gelato truck and an Italian cake with strawberries and cream. The following day, everybody gathered for a pool party that included a saxophonist and more fun. Former “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” stars Tayshia Adams, Hannah Ann Sluss, Amanda Stanton, and Kelly Travis shared highlights via their Instagram pages, and everybody seemed to agree it was a magical event. Stanton noted in an Instagram post, “There was truly love, magic & something unexplainably special in the air watching these two tie the knot. I cried a lot… and now I’m crying again.”

Adams gushed about the wedding on Instagram, “Yesterday was simply magical!!” The former “Bachelorette” added, “Had an incredible day celebrating true love, watching the most breathtaking bride, marry the man of her dreams!! So stinking happy for you both!!! Love you Mr. & Mrs. Hart!!!!”

Several Bachelor Nation stars gathered in Italy this week for the long-awaited wedding of a former “Bachelorette” star. On May 31, Us Weekly revealed that Dorfman and Hart’s wedding took place earlier in the day. The former “Bachelorette” shared some highlights from the rehearsal dinner via her Instagram Stories, and wedding highlights are surely on the way soon.

Ahead of the wedding, Adams, Stanton and Sluss embraced Italy together. The three ladies explored the country and shared highlights on Instagram while in Capri, and then revealed they were in Sorrento heading into the big event.

Dorfman & Hart Met Once Years Ago

In an Instagram post that Dorfman shared about a week before her Italian wedding, she gave fans the background on how she and Hart connected.

“A very full circle visiting the spot we met in,” she began. The former “Bachelorette” detailed that she and Hart had met once at a college party.

“I was very into him but not the other way around hahaha,” she joked. Dorfman explained, “We never talked again until 15 years later when Blaine was in Tuscany and Rome for a wedding and I was in Positano with a girlfriend of mine.” Hart sent Dorfman a message via Instagram asking if she would like to meet up for a drink, and “We ended up hitting it off.”

Hart stayed in Italy for another day to spend time with Dorfman, and she happened to snap a photo during their first dinner together “just in case.” Now, Dorfman noted, they were “getting married on the same coast we re-met each other on! All this to say, sliding into DM’s works.”

They welcomed a baby girl named Isabella in early 2018 and a boy named Charles in late 2019, but they announced their separation a little over a year after Charles was born.

Now Waddell has released a new song called “Two Little Angels,” which she wrote on Instagram was “written straight from the deepest part of [her] heart,” but she wasn’t sure if she could write it after her “public divorce” from Bass.

Waddell writes of the song:

“Two Little Angels” was written straight from the deepest part of my heart, and an ode to my two children. It actually wasn’t a song I was even sure I wanted to write due to my public divorce. I didn’t know if I wanted to speak about it in any way after it finally blew over… but this song was born from the idea “should two people stay together just for the kids?” and how regardless of if you stay together or not, your children are still perfect angels and an incredible gift.

With my children being the focus, I felt a little more at ease opening up to the most personal parts of my life. Honestly, I still don’t know the right answer to that question, and that’s why the song doesn’t give an answer.

She finished by saying, “I think it’s a beautiful and powerful song to contemplate on, go hug your children to, and hopefully one that truly resonates with all of you.”

Waddell Released a Single on May 1 As Well Called ‘Your Friends Like Me More’

Waddell’s first single dropped on May 1. The song is called “Your Friends Like Me More” and it’s a country jam about how the singer’s ex’s friends like her more than they like her.

You’ll miss me when it’s 2 a.m./

But Waddell insists that the song is not about her ex. She told the Bachelor Nation “Click Bait” podcast that her co-writers wanted her to write about her divorce, but she said no.

“They thought I should [write about my divorce] and that it would be good for me, but I just didn’t. I want to write fun songs. I’m a very fun person. I’m quirky, I like jokes. I wanted to write fun women-empowerment songs. I want to be like Shania Twain. I want people to be like, ‘Oh, that song is so good and such a fun summer vibe.’ Maybe I’d throw one sad song in there. Everybody thinks that all of these songs are about Evan and I’m just a storyteller,” said Waddell.

She continued, “There’s one song that sort of relatively about Evan and our marriage, but it’s about the kids, really. The relationship I talk about in that song is 50 percent about us and 50 percent not about us. It drives me crazy when people think that all these songs are about Evan and that I’m being so mean. I’m telling ya, it’s not about Evan. People will think what they want to think. It’s fine. I just wanted to write fun, feel-good music about other people. We create a character and then start writing about this person.”

Both songs are singles off her debut EP (extended play), which does not have a release date yet.

However, she has one significant demand that would need to be met first.

Martha Stewart Suggested She Was Open to the Possibility

Stewart, 81, graces the cover of the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and she is generating a lot of buzz with it. She spoke to Variety about the cover release and the topic of “The Golden Bachelor” arose. The idea of Stewart being one of the bachelorettes competing for an older suitor would surely generate huge interest and ratings, and she suggested she would consider it. Ultimately, however, it sounds like Stewart would be tough to convince in the grand scheme of things.

The iconic entertainer admitted she has tried dating sites, but noted, “The algorithm doesn’t fit me very well. Or I don’t fit it. Put it that way — I don’t fit it very well. I tried. It’s ridiculous.” Stewart was then asked if perhaps she would do “The Golden Bachelor,” and she answered, “If I get to see the men first.” However, she then added, “I’m very busy… I don’t think I would do a reality dating show.”

Stewart Prioritizes Work Over Dating

In March, Stewart admitted to E! Insider that “work has taken precedence over the romance” aspect of her life. Becca Kufrin Admits She’s Scared

Kufrin joined former “Bachelor” Ben Higgins for the May 10 episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast. Kufrin and Thomas have already debuted her sizable baby bump and shared their baby’s gender, and now she is filling in additional details on the wild journey they have been on with the pregnancy thus far. “The Bachelorette” star admitted this was not something they had planned to do right now. “Um, nooo… it was very unexpected,” she told Higgins. She added the couple had frequently been asked if they had been trying to get pregnant, and Kufrin admitted, “All I can say is we weren’t not trying. It just kinda happened.” The “Bachelor in Paradise” lovebirds had talked quite a bit about having children, and Jacobs had apparently joked he thought they would get pregnant as soon as they were ready to start trying. Kufrin wasn’t convinced, but it seems Jacobs was right. She also revealed that Jacobs eventually would love to have four kids.

The pregnancy may have come as a surprise, but Kufrin said they are very excited. They found out she was expecting in January, and Jacobs is “over the moon ecstatic” with “roses in his eyes” about what lies ahead. The ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Stars Will Postpone Their Wedding

Now that Kufrin and Jacobs will be busy preparing for their first baby, they have had to make changes to their wedding plans. She explained that the baby is due in the middle of September, and the “Bachelor in Paradise” stars had planned their wedding for the beginning of October. Now, the couple has decided to push the wedding out about a year, into 2024, but they have not picked a firm date yet. They decided they want to get settled with their baby, find a routine, figure out “what the heck we’re doing,” and then get back to wedding planning. Kufrin revealed what they love best about going that route is that “Thomas says I’m gonna have a little best man to walk me down the aisle.”

Kufrin told Higgins she has always known Jacobs would be a good father. “He’s the first guy, really, in my life, that I was like, I could see you being a father for my children and being an equal partner.” The former “Bachelorette” also noted she expects Jacobs to be the “cool dad” while she will be the stricter parent of the two. On Instagram, Herron posted a series of photos of when Oliver was born in January. After he was delivered, she and her partner Dylan Brown spent a short time with their baby. She wrote on Instagram at the time, “On January 28th, at 24 weeks old, our beautiful son Oliver Brown was born. He passed away in his dad’s arms shortly after. There are no words for the magnitude of loss and pain we’re experiencing. It’s beautiful and simultaneously tragic. He had my nose and his dad’s mouth and long fingers.”

Oliver’s official due date was May 17 and to mark the occasion, Herron posted more photos of their time with Oliver in the hospital and wrote a message to her baby.

“Happy Due Date, my sweet angel. Today is not a day that I could have prepared for. But my perfect son, through the sorrow and unbearable grief, you have given me a gift that words will not suffice. It is with my wisest knowing that our souls had a contract to fulfill with each other, and this is exactly the way it was supposed to be for us,” wrote Herron.

You needed parents who could hold this short life for you; safely and honorably. You chose me, not in spite of karma, but because of it. This wasn’t our first life together, and it surely will not be our last. Your clever spirit had a message to be shared and this was your chance to have it heard ‘round the world.”

Herron Assured Her Son That She & His Father are Doing ‘OK’

Herron went on to write that Oliver gave them the gift of showing them “how strong” they are and “what [they’re] capable of.”

“We are OK … you’ve taught me that we are not our bodies, but merely souls having human experiences,” wrote the reality TV star.

She also said that just a few days prior, her grandmother (Oliver’s great-grandmother) died and “for the second time this year,” Herron “had the honor of holding a loved one as they made the brave journey of leaving their body.”

“I’ve traveled to the darkest depths of my being. I’ve met with spiritual healers, counselors and gurus – wanting to know you better. You have changed me. Music, nature, humanity – it all hits differently now. My senses are attuned and awake, I see meaning… in everything,” Herron told her son, adding, “We come into this world delicate, and leave just the same. I had to witness such courage and vulnerability to understand it.”

She concluded by writing:

Today we weep and celebrate all that you have given our family; bravery, resiliency, courage, optimism, and hope. After a grueling, long, season of Wintering… you have given us Spring; a chance to begin again.

Herron and Brown announced that they were expecting in September 2022 after a years’ long IVF journey.

She wrote at the time that women and families who have experienced fertility struggles are “all warriors” and she is “still in it with you.”

“I’ve dreamt of the day that I could share this news, and at the same time I’ve dreaded how I would word it. To the women and families amidst their fertility challenges; please know that I share this news with the most gentle intention. Whatever feelings come up, or space you need from my account is valid and respected. My heart belongs to all of you today. We are all warriors and I assure you I am still in it with you. I hope this lessens the sting, though I understand it may not,” wrote Herron on the birth announcement post.

In April 2023, Herron posted a video of herself finally finding the strength to decorate what was going to be Oliver’s nursery with some keepsakes that loved ones sent to them to remember Oliver. She hung them above the glider rocking chair that was the one piece of nursery furniture she was not able to return.

A separate season featuring older contestants has been teased by ABC for several years, but until now, it never seemed to formally move forward. However, the potential show’s status has now changed.

In January 2020, “Bachelor” producer Lindsay Liles teased the upcoming show in an Instagram post. “Now Casting a new show! Potential contestants were directed to a website where they could submit their information, and that site remains live. However, neither a premiere date nor a lead was never announced. “Bachelor Nation” fans did not forget about it, though.

In July 2020, Variety shared that the senior “Bachelor” version was still in the works. Unfortunately, the coronavirus epidemic threw a wrench into the production of all television shows for a while, and it seemed the new spinoff was wrapped up in the numerous production issues. Despite the delay, the network teased that they had been in the early stages of casting. “Some of the casting interviews we got, they were just so touching,” ABC executive Rob Mills noted at the time. He added, “It was really fascinating, so I have no doubt it will happen some day.” On May 17, ABC announced the time had finally come. Variety details that “The Golden Bachelor” will air on Monday evenings in the fall, snagging the time spot after “Dancing with the Stars,” which is returning to ABC after a season solely on Disney+.

Could a Former ‘Bachelor’ Snag the Hosting Spot?

In March, former franchise creator Mike Fleiss teased that “The Golden Bachelor” was starting to come together. Now that ABC and other networks are navigating a writers strike, they decided it was time to give the spin-off a spot on the schedule. ABC has previously announced that Charity Lawson’s season of “The Bachelorette” will premiere on June 26. In addition, “Bachelor in Paradise” season 9 will air on Tuesday nights this fall.

At this stage, ABC has not detailed anything regarding the host, lead, or slate of contestants for “The Golden Bachelor.” A specific filming schedule has not been revealed either. While current host Jesse Palmer may be the most likely pick to host this upcoming spinoff, there is another former “Bachelor” lead who would love to get the gig: Ben Higgins. In a recent chat with Us Weekly, he declared if he were in charge, “this would be my big home run,” and he thinks “The Golden Bachelor” could be big for the franchise. “I think the stories would go back to what we’re used to watching when it comes to ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ — those stories are gonna be heartwrenching. They’re gonna be inspiring,” he suggested.

Higgins suggested that younger viewers are “super curious to understand” the older generation, and “The Golden Bachelor” could provide valuable insight. He also admitted he’s been pitching himself to host it since the idea first emerged. “I am making sure that it is known that if they need somebody — I’m not trying to take Jesse Palmer away from the show — just let me, like, be there as the medicine passer outer or, like, not the bartender, just let me figure out what blue pill to put in the bottle.” The announcement the show is a go generated plenty of buzz within “Bachelor Nation.”

On May 10, the former “Bachelor” joked he was “going to take a break from my usual sarcastic humor” in a new Instagram post. Instead, he teased fans he would “let you all enjoy this video of me crying like a baby.” The post used the Darlene Love song “(Today I Met) The Boy I’m Gonna Marry,” and the video clip that Lowe included showed a tidbit from his daughter Mia’s first dance recital. As the recital played in the upper corner, Lowe could be seen on video in an outdoor chair on the rest of the screen.

“Let me tell you what’s going on here…” he began. All the while, Mia’s dance recital video continued to play in the upper corner of the clip. “The Bachelor” star did manage to insert some of his usual humor when he added, “Also, I made the mistake of telling Catherine and then she reminded me we had cameras and now you can all enjoy watching me cry to a 90s movie.” Lowe then jokingly added, “Don’t have daughters.”

The “Bachelor in Paradise” star declared, “Our big, strong healthy boy weighing 8lbs 2oz.” is “Pappa’s Twin!” She also wrote that she and her husband already loved their son “more than you’ll ever know.” The Instagram post included four photos of Beckham that were taken during the first few hours of his life. Emily’s twin sister Haley commented, “My sweet boy,” and one follower added a response to that, which read, “Congratulations Auntie.”

The first photo showed Kufrin and Jacobs standing closely together, and they both had their hands resting on her baby bump. He kissed her forehead as she smiled and gazed at the camera. She wore a floor-length ensemble that Kufrin noted in a comment was from Kadimah. The pregnant former “Bachelorette” confirmed it was perfect for a growing baby bump as she responded to a curious pregnant supporter. It appeared the ensemble may have been the line’s Luna One-Shoulder Kaftan in the bronze color, and her addition of the belt seemed the perfect way to ensure her baby bump did not go unnoticed.

Kufrin did not include context about what they were doing in Tennessee, but additional photos indicated they were attending a friend’s wedding. Matt James’ Maternal Grandmother Died

On April 30, “The Bachelor” star shared an Instagram Story that originated on his mom Patty’s account. “I lost my best friend and confidant early this morning. RIP Mom,” Patty wrote over a photo of her mother. The photo showed her mom sitting in a chair with a blanket over her lap and a small stuffed animal on her shoulder. She wore white gloves and had on a loose-fitting white dress or blouse, along with blue-rimmed glasses. She also had a large smile on her face when the snapshot was taken. An obituary on the Dignity Memorial site detailed that Eve Katherine Cuculo died on Sunday, April 30. She was 98 years old, and she had been born in March 1925 in Providence, Rhode Island. An older obituary on Legacy.com revealed Eve had been married to Dr. John Cuculo, who died in August 2009. He had also grown up in Providence, Rhode Island, and relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina four decades before his death. John and Eve had three children, including “The Bachelor” star’s mother, Patty. John attended Brown University in Rhode Island and went on to earn a PhD at Duke University. He invented Stren fishing line, his obituary noted, and he held several patents for other products in the field of fiber and polymer science.

‘The Bachelor’ Star Openly Adores His Mother

As Wake Forest Magazine detailed, “The Bachelor” star grew up in Raleigh with his mother and older brother, and it seems Patty spent most of her life before having kids there too. Matt’s father was not around, and his mother struggled financially, at times. “The community really rallied around us to make sure I had what I needed,” Matt explained of those tough days. He noted his mother was “the most faithful person I’ve ever known,” and he told “Good Morning America” his mother definitely influenced what he was looking for in his own partner. “Everything that she sacrificed for myself and my brother to be in the position that we’re at, I want to be that for somebody else,” Matt explained, while adding, “And the way that she loved myself and John is how I want to love somebody and how I want to be loved.”

The new photos Karagach posted featured her by herself, without Pashkov by her side. She wore a sheer, lacy black body suit over black lingerie and the ensemble certainly highlighted her prominent baby bump. She had her blonde hair swept back into a ponytail and added stiletto heels to complete the look, and everybody seemed to agree it was stunning.

Karagach’s Pregnancy Photos Generated a Huge Response

Karagach’s 35-week baby bump photo post received hundreds of comments and over 46,000 likes. Her “Dancing with the Stars” colleagues could not seem to hold back.

“WHAT DO I EVEN WRITE HERE???” teased soon-to-be dad Pashkov.

“Omg I die for these,” gushed Peta Murgatroyd, the other member of the pregnant pro club. Murgatroyd and her husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, recently revealed the gender of their upcoming family addition.

A handful of former “Dancing with the Stars” contestants added comments signaling their love for Karagach’s photos too. Shangela, Heidi D’Amelio, Selma Blair, Teresa Giudice, and Nikki Garcia (formerly Bella) raved over the post, and they had plenty of company thanks to franchise fans and friends.

Karagach and Pashkov recently got away for a relaxing babymoon at the Lido House in Newport Beach, California, and they shared some highlights on Instagram. “The energy was calm and so peaceful,” the “Dancing with the Stars” pros wrote. They added, “We will definitely be coming back with our baby girl.” From the looks of things, the couple is ready for their baby girl to arrive, and fans will be eager to see additional updates as that day draws near.

The former lead caught the attention of fans on April 22 after he shared he was still looking for his future wife in an Instagram video posted by the Canadian beauty company @beautybycanada. In the video, the makeup artist asked Peter what physical attributes he notices first in women. The ABC star said he notices eyebrows and legs first. After he shared his answer, the makeup artist said she was going to give Pete a makeover to get him ready for his “future wife.”

“I still gotta find her,” he replied.

“Ladies, he’s still single. He’s in Calgary,” the makeup artist said to which Pete replied, “I am. First time here.”

Furthermore, a source confirmed the split to Us Weekly on May 1.

Peter & Kelley’s Relationship Timeline

Kelley’s relationship with Peter began on national television when she was one of thirty women vying for the Pilot’s heart on season 24 of “The Bachelor,” which aired in the beginning of 2020. Unlike the other women on the season, Kelley had a leg up going into filming because she had met the Bachelor prior to being on the show. In the premiere episode, viewers learned that Peter and Kelley had run into each other at a hotel before filming began. 

“Kelley met Peter prior to the taping of the show,” former host Chris Harrison revealed in January 2020, Us Weekly reported. “This is completely random but they met at a hotel they were both at for separate parties.”

However, Kelley’s advantage wasn’t enough to take her to the end. She was sent home during week six. 

Peter proposed to Hannah Ann in the season finale after Madison Prewett left the show on her own accord. At the “After the Finale Rose” special, Pete and Madison agreed to give their relationship another shot but ended up splitting two days after the live special, Entertainment Tonight reported. 

After Peter’s split with Madison, he found himself single again and rumors began to swirl that the former Bachelor and Kelley were an item. Us Weekly confirmed the news in April 2020.

Former “Bachelor” winner Susie Evans is opening up about one of her past relationships. The Virginia native made an appearance on Bachelor news savant Dave Neal’s YouTube channel on April 28, where she revealed that one of her exes faked having cancer.

Susie Says Her Ex Was ‘So Manipulative’

Susie was the featured guest on episode two of Dave Neal’s new series “Driving With Dave,” where the YouTuber interviews reality TV personalities. During the episode, Susie opened up about her dating history, revealing she had seriously dated three people before going on “The Bachelor.” The 29-year-old shared she is on good terms with her last three exes but couldn’t say the same about her first boyfriend.

“He was a crazy mofo,” she told Dave. “Like crazy stuff. Honestly, I can’t even say it out loud.”

“The Bachelor” alum then revealed that her ex faked having skin cancer after she tried to breakup with him.

“He basically told my family he had cancer when he never had cancer,” she shared on the episode.

“That’s the type of person he was,” she continued. “He was so manipulative. I tried to breakup with him and he pulled that card.”

“He’s the only guy of all the guys I’ve dated where I’m like, [he was a] truly manipulative like just bad person,” she added.

Susie told Dave that her experience with her ex changed the way she approached dating, telling the host she does not tolerate lying in a relationship.

Susie Says She & Clayton Were ‘So Different’

Fans first met Susie when she was a contestant on Clayton Echard’s season of “The Bachelor” in 2022. The blonde beauty formed a connection with Clayton early on, which landed her a spot in his final three. However, Susie’s relationship with Clayton became complicated during their Fantasy Suite date in Iceland when Clayton revealed he had been intimate with both Gabby and Rachel. The confession upset Susie, who felt she could not move forward with Clayton after learning he had expressed his love for the other contestants. The two ended up breaking up over the conflict.

The two reconnected after the show wrapped filming and began a relationship but the romance didn’t last long. The couple announced their split in a September 2022 Instagram post.

Former “Bachelor” villain Christina Mandrell made an appearance on the Thursday, April 20 episode of the Bachelor Nation podcast “Click Bait,” where she revealed if she would consider being on the spinoff show “Bachelor in Paradise.”

“I mean, never say never,” she told hosts Aaron Clancy, Jill Chin, and Mari Pepin.

The Tennessee native joined the franchise in 2023 when she was one of thirty women vying for Zach Shallcross’s heart on season 27 of “The Bachelor.” Christina formed a connection with Shallcross early on, which landed her an invite on the first one-on-one date of the season. However, her time on the show didn’t last long. After her one-on-one date, Christina became a frequent topic of conversation among the other contestants, who accused her of being “calculated” and “manipulative.” Zach made the decision to send Christina home in week three after contestant Brianna Thorbourne told him Christina was creating an intimidating environment.

After Christina revealed she is not swearing off Paradise completely, host Jill Chin asked if there is anyone from Bachelor Nation that Christina has her eye on.

Christina Says She Felt Like ‘A Monster’ During ‘The Bachelor’

On the April 20 episode of “Click Bait,” Christina addressed the drama surrounding her time on “The Bachelor.” The content creator said she was surprised when the girls in the house confronted her after the football date in episode three, telling the hosts she did not know she was rubbing the other contestants the wrong way.

“That kind of set me into the whole like…Am I the problem? What have I done? Am I a horrible person?” Christina said about the confrontation after the football game. “I’m just like questioning everything. I felt like a monster. I’m like wait, what have I done? I don’t mean to be hurting people.”

Christina spoke more about her relationship with the other contestants in the house on the “Women Tell All” special, which aired on March 14.

“Being told that you’re making people feel uncomfortable when that [is] just something I’ve never been told before…What my mind wanted to do was do more and make sure people understand my intentions and that I am being nice,” she said. “I didn’t know what to do and it felt like everything I did was just the wrong thing. It was hard.”

Christina did extend a thankful to the women for confronting her about the situation.

“Thank you guys for letting me know [because] I can take all of that and be better, hopefully, in the future,” she said on the “Women Tell All” special.
